Interviewing

Interviewers can be located anywhere as interviews are done via phone. This is a very involved and important job that is time
sensitive as we have so many dogs in rescue and waiting to come in. The applicants are anxious to get through the application
process quickly. There is also tracking involved to ensure applicants make it through the process as quickly as possible.

An Interviewer needs to have a computer, and must have a pretty open schedule; it just isn't easy to do interviews if you are never
home or don't have much time each week to spare. There are no outbound calls or cost to you as applicant will call you, or you call
them collect. Normally it only involves a few interviews a week, lasting 30 minutes on average. I would estimate the time involved with
this volunteer job to be a few hours a week total on the phone, computer & tracking/following up with your interviews.

An Interviewer needs to be good at listening and "reading" people over the phone This can be a fun job if you enjoy talking to
people about how SCBR/rescue works, about boxers in general. There is an email group just for the Interviewers so if you need
group help/support or have questions.
