| Renea Trejo, a long-time SCBR volunteer with her husband Stevan, died Thursday from injuries she received in an accident with the motorcycle she was driving on the Jersey Turnpike Wednesday. Renea is survived by Stevan and their boxers, Chloe and Lucius. Stevan has requested that, in lieu of flowers, people donate in Renea's memory to Second Chance Boxer Rescue. | Renea and Stevan were both dedicated supporters of SCBR and boxer rescue. Renea did a little of everything to help out. She and Stevan were tireless as foster parents, providing transport, and working with our guys who needed training to get ready for their forever families. Renea, we will miss you and the light you brought to us and the dogs. We know that there were lots of nub wiggles and sloppy kisses waiting for you at The Bridge. |
