11/6/14-So, 10 days after the neutering and almost a month with us, I'm happy to say Banjo is doing great with the other dogs!  We still keep him separated from the other dogs for meals (theirs and ours) and for treats, but he hasn't shown any more of the attitude with the other dogs that we first saw when he arrived. He's got lots of energy and loves to play with and fetch toys -- I think he'd be great in a home with kids (and/or other energetic dogs) to play with.

10/31/14 Banjo has been here almost two weeks now, and he's doing great. Living indoors, other dogs and people to snuggle and play with, meals and treats... no more life as a stray for this sweetie!  Banjo is a happy, energetic little guy who comes when he's called, and is starting to respond to his name (he was named by the daughter of the animal control officer who found him as a stray, took him home and got him into rescue). He was neutered and got all his shots on Monday, and is starting to put on some weight... this little cutie is ready for his forever home!

10/23/14- Banjo was a stray who came into rescue this past weekend. He's scheduled to be neutered on Monday 10/27.  He is small and underweight, but what he lacks in stature he makes up for in enthusiasm... he is very affectionate and friendly and loves to play and snuggle! More later as he settles in.
