6/18/16 Bacchus ( or Bacchy to his friends) is a great dog to have around. He is very low maintenance. He goes into his crate when told. He is very good at obeying commands even though he is only 2 years old. He is always happy and has adapted to the household schedule very well. He is doing much better on his leash using the Freedom Harness. As you can see by his new pictures, he loves his toys and runs all over the yard with them in his mouth. He likes to be with you and is very attentive, but will also go lay down if it is quiet. I cant' say enough good things about Bacchus. He deserves a great forever home.

6/ 11/16 Bacchus was adopted from SCBR as a pup to a loving family. Unfortunately, because of family situations changing, he was
spending most of his time in his crate and his owner made the tough decision to return him to us so that we could find him a loving home that could give him the attention he deserves. He has only been here a short time, but is a gentle giant. He is a very big and strong boy, but is soft and cuddly. He loves to give hugs. We will work on his leash training.
He will fit into any family that wants a giant lovebug to cuddle with.
Please give Bacchus a good look. He's a keeper.

12/9/14 Well I'm so glad everyone checked back in to see how Bacchus was doing after arriving into rescue.  This is one "really awesome" puppy, he's happy, outgoing, goofy, fun loving boy.  He loves my dogs, and will run around the back yard body bumping, jumping over them (okay so sometimes he ends up jumping on top of them by mistake because he's a clumsy puppy) but he is just a fun loving boy.  He has no issues with sharing stuffed toys with my young boxer boy who is 20 lbs smaller than Bacchus, and Bacchus will actually bump my Kane with the toy to try and engage him in a game of Tug-O-War.  He also loves to snuggle with them on the bed in front of the fire on a cold day.
He is crate trained, and will go into the wire crate with a few cookies thrown in.  He fine with the other dogs being around, as well as walking by the crate while he's in it, in fact he prefers them to be around when he's crated.  He'd rather not be left alone, but when he is he will fuss a few minutes in the crate then settle down to nap.
Who ever adopts this boy is going to be a really lucky family.
12/7/14 Bacchus (pronounced Back Us) has arrived into rescue and he is a very large, active boy for 8 months old.  He's a very handsome boy, who we are looking forward to getting to know better.  So please, check back in a few days and there will be lots more information about this boy.
