| NOTE ** Because I am still a baby, I will only be placed in a home where someone is home often, such as retired, work at home, work opposite shifts, stay at home parents, etc. UPDATE 2/6/09 - Hello, Maggie is amazing. She sure does all of the little things puppies do, but she has adjusted well! We got Maggie at 7 weeks old and she was completely house trained about 6 weeks later. Maggie absolutely loves our 4 year old daughter. My daughter and the puppy play fetch together and Maggie really enjoys just sitting near wherever our daughter is. We have a cat and it has been a bit of a struggle for the two of them since Maggie wants to chase him and he does not want to play. Maggie seams to leave him alone more often then she did before. At times you can even catch them napping together. Maggie has learned Sit, Stay, Come, Lay Down, Drop It, Gimme Paw and we are working on speak. We are in te process of finding an obedience trainer now. I suspect Maggie will do great when we find her a great teacher. All in all we adore Maggie. She is very smart and very loving. When we first got her she was a bit aggresive, but now she is just a lover! We couldn't ask for a better dog! 11/30/08 - Winter is the first to have gone home! 11/22/08 - Lucky is the Father of these 5 girls and he is gorgeous fawn boxer boy with black mask. The shelter was not told what the Mom was, we are wondering if she may have been even full boxer? No guarantees though as we don't know. Updates soon and more individual pictures as their 2 foster homes get a chance. They will be able to go home next week! |
