WALTER - Chihuahua
2/23/08 - I'm not really sure where to start with this boy. When he likes and trusts you he is the best
dog you could ever have. He loves to cuddle, watch tv, go for rides in the car. He is completely
cratetrained and loves to burrow under all the blankets in his crate and sleep through the night. He is
housebroken, other than a little marking which is getting better. He is very fearful of new people and
acts out when they are around. He seems to like kids best and warms up to them a little easier. He
needs someone who will be very careful of him when new people are around. I also think he would do
best as an only dog. He does do ok with some dogs but is very selective on which dogs he likes. He
has no problem going after my 150 pound mastiff. Luckily Pokey thinks he is joking. Walter truely
would make the right person very happy.

1/21/08 - I'm not to sure of his history. I know he lived with several other little dogs in his previous
foster home and as well as here at my house. He gets very hyper sometimes and we cant beleive how
quick he is. he also loves to cuddle and hide in a blanket. He likes to talk alot and be the center of
attention.

1/14/08 - WALTER HAS ONLY BEEN HERE FOR 24 HOURS BUT WE ARE DOING GOOD.
TO BAD HIS FIRST DAY HERE HAD TO BE SUCH A BAD STORM. HAS MEET FOUR
PEOPLE 2 MALES 2 FEMALES AND HE LIKES EVERYONE THE SAME. WE WERE TOLD
HE DID NOT LIKE MEN VERY MUCH BUT I HAVE SEEN NO SIGN OF THAT YET. HE
HAS BRIEFLY MEET MY DOGS AND THERE WAS ALOT OF EXCITMENT BUT NO
FIGHTING. FOR SUCH A SMALL DOG HE HAS NO INTREST IN BACKING DOWN. HE IS
FULL OF ENERGY AND LOVES TO PLAY.WE WILL DO ANOTHER UPDATE AS SOON
AS WE LEARN MORE ABOUT WALTER.

Transporter comments:

1/13/08 - I just got back from delivering Champ the boxer and Walter the Chihuahua(cat that barks) to
Nyla. I was told that Walter doesn't like men. I took him out of his crate to pee. He had no choice but
to be nice to me, no one else was there. Nyla showed up, and he nipped at her. I think he'll be nice to
whom ever has him, and everyone else is the enemy. Champ on the other hand is a total sweetheart. I'm
not used to Boxers that don't kiss, but he does cuddle. He spent most of the ride with his head on my
lap. His owner says he travels well, he loves to go for rides.  Thanks to everyone that pulled together to
get these guys in.
