UPDATE 5/20/09 - It's been some time since I have given an update
for Toby.  He's wonderful, what else can I say?  He gets a lot of
attention where ever we go...a walk, Petco...everyone tells him how
handsome he is.  And he has made many four legged friends in the
neighborhood.  He's pretty happy that the warm weather is upon us.
Toby will lay on the back porch and soak up all the sun.  He can also
play with his next door buddy, Henry on the weekends.  They run
around and poop each other out.  He's such a good boy, we are very
lucky have him!

UPDATE 12/3/08 - Toby continues to do really well in his forever
home.  He loves his "grampy"!  "Grampy" takes him for a few hours on
his day off, he gets to run around and play with a big golden
retriever...Toby runs circles around him and is pooped at the end of
the day!   We had a great Thanksgiving, Toby was well behaved even
with all the company.  We are looking forward to celebrating our first
Christmas with Toby (I just bought his stocking today) as well as his
2nd birthday!  Lots to celebrate and be thankful for...

UPDATE 10/8/08 - Toby is doing really well in his new home.  Right
away he found a spot on the couch.  He'll hop up and put his head on
the arm of the couch, it looks like he's watching TV with us.  Shortly
after Toby's arrival we learned he is able to jump our three and a half
foot fence with the greatest of ease and enjoys visiting the neighbors.
So now when he even goes near the fence we call him right
back...unless he sees a squirrel he's a good listener. We found that
Toby has seasonal allergies.  He's on some good meds so the itching
has pretty much stopped.  Toby can give hugs too!  If you sit on the
floor, he'll put his two front paws on your shoulders and rest his head
on top of your head or by your neck.  It is the cutest thing and my
favorite part of coming home at the end of the day.  He is a love bug
and such a good boy.

9/13/08 - Toby has been adopted!

8/3/08 - Toby is a 19 month old owner surrender that was turned in
due to financial and health issues of his family.  A big thank you goes
out to both Deanna & Lori and their families for both holding him
Friday and Saturday, until my other foster boy went home today.
Toby was bought at a breeder in Maine and is a Christmas baby (born
12/25/06)!   He is a really tall boy and was raised with kids 6 and up
and is said to be good with them and with dogs too.  We are not sure
about cats or little kids at this time. More updates soon once I get to
know Toby further!
