UPDATE 10/20/08 - Roxy is really a sweet girl.  We're having some
issues with dog aggression, but obedience school is helping and her
temperament with people is amazing.
Every guest that enters our house is greeted with the "U-Dance" and
presented with a toy.  She gets so excited when people come over but
she has to have a toy in her mouth when she meets them.  Because
she's breathing so hard through her nose she snorts with excitement!
She's a great girl and we're a happy family!

8/17/08 - Miss Roxy left this afternoon with her new mom and dad.
They came in and she went right to them. It is so funny how they just
know! They were a young couple this is their first dog. She has a new
kennel, dog bed and toys waiting for her when she gets to her new
house. I can tell she is going to be the happiest dog ever in her new
home!! I will miss you Rox.

8/6/08- Roxy I think has finally given up her quest to be queen!!
With a scratch on her nose and her head down she has accepted her
rank as princess!!! She still tests the waters a little with Maddy (the
current queen!), but I think she knows it isn't going to happen! All
and all the dogs are all getting along well.

Roxy is such a good girl. She is settling in great. Back to eating
and not whining so much. She was free fed at her previous home so I
am working on feeding her twice a day like the other dogs. She ate
all her breakfast so we will see how she does at dinner. She is
really a wonderful dog, so sweet and affectionate. She loves to play
outside and just be outside in general. She follows me around
everywhere and helps me with house work and yard work!! She is
interested in everything, has to sniff and check it all out, she is so
curious. She doesn't quite know what to make of the vacuum yet! I am
also working on putting a little meat on her bones. She is a little
skinny and not really eating for the first few days didn't help.

She does really well in her kennel. I have been putting her in when
I am outside doing yard work that she can't help me with! I hear her
bark a little and then she settles down. If I run outside to the car
or to get something she gets a little nervous and runs back and fourth
and whines, so maybe a little separation anxiety-probably just new
surroundings.

She has been great with the kids, lots of kisses then otherwise
doesn't know they exist! She seems a little more nervous around men
than with woman, but has loved everyone she has met. The most
popular comment is " Oh my god she is so cute!!" She has definitely
earned her rank as princess she is the cutest little thing. I am sure she
won't be around much longer she will make a great addition to
someone's family so hurry up and get your request in for the adorable
Miss Roxy.

8/4/08- Roxy has been a very good girl. She was a little restless
last night but to be expected on her first night in a strange house.
She has met Maddy and Max they do okay!! There have been a few
little squabbles, but nothing serious just trying to establish who is who
around here. Outside they are okay in the house Roxy still stays in
the kennel when they are all in.

She does wonderful outside. She doesn't run off and if she wanders a
little I just whistle and she stops dead and comes running. She is a
very well behaved little girl! She loves to play fetch with her little toys.
She comes out and if she forgets her toy she runs back to the door so
she can go get one. She doesn't come out of her kennel without a toy
either, she is just so cute!

I drop her off Thursday morning for her spay and then she is good to
go. Roxy needs a home where there is plenty of play time for her she
loves to run!! What boxer doesn't!

8/3/08  I picked up Roxy this afternoon she is an owner surrender.
The family doesn't have the time needed for her now and they knew
that wasn't fair to her.  They were very sad to see her going.  She is
so sweet.  She runs around the house with a toy in her mouth it is so
cute!  We played a little fetch in between the rain and she had a blast,
she is a fast little thing.  She is very well mannered and listens very
well inside and out.  I was a little nervous she may take off on me
during our play time but she was great.

She has spent some time in the crate today just until her nerves calm
down and she is ready to meet my two Boxers.  She has been great
she is in the living room with us so that she can see what is going on.
Maddy and Max (my two boxers) have been checking her out with a
little growling!!  I think they will all get along great though when they
are all ready to meet!

I will call the vet tomorrow to set up an appointment for her spay.  She
is all update on her shots.  If you are looking for a beautiful sweet little
girl Roxy is your dog.  I have already fallen in love with her and it has
only been 5 hrs!!  That is a boxer for ya!!!  It is hard to get a good
shot she is always on the move!!
