| UPDATE 12/26/08 - So Rocky had his first Christmas here in his new home. Santa knew just were to leave his gifts and he had his very own stocking too. He was thrilled with his soccer ball and squeak toys but his favorite was the bag of doggie treats! He has made himself right at home with all of us even little Jozee who is not always a well behaved little sister. LOL She keeps him on his toes! He is very snuggly and would lick you all day long if you let him. Jozee and Rocky are cutest when they are snuggling on the couch together or when they just give eachother kisses. He is a GREAT addition to our family! 12/7/08 - Rocky has been adopted! 12/1/08 - Hi again, its me Rocky! We just got back from a trip in this thing that went really fast and passed lots of other things that looked kinda like us...and when I got out, we were at this lady's house where all she did was feed people. (I really liked that part) I met all kinds of people and I met a new lady who actually let me sit ON her lap... that is, when I wasn't busy rolling around with my big black Great Dane friend Charlie. Well, now that we're back from that trip and we have this huge yard to run in, my foster mom took videos of us and TAaa DAaa we're on the internet!! I swear! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psJTJktsbIs Rrrruff! I need a nap! Bye! 11/26/08 - Hi! I'm Rocky! I'm 2 1/2 years old and a bunch of different colors I hear they call brindle. I don't know what that means, but I know I look an awful lot like the leaves in the backyard. My foster mom has to put this goofy orange scarf on me so no one thinks I'm a deer. I came to be fostered up here in Maine last weekend after living with these two really nice ladies who spoiled me rotten. The thing is, I'm a brat and only showed off all the training they gave me when I felt like it. Now I'm impressing my foster mom with all the tricks I know like sit, lay down, off, and stay. I'm really GOOD at stay. I have such a huge heart that it doesn't all fit inside me and I wear it on my neck by my collar. I just LOVE that I have this other puppy to play with, even though there isn't a whole lot of room inside the house. My favorite game is fetch and I will make my foster mom throw a toy for me for hours, if she'll allow it, inside and out. I also love that she'll let me snuggle with her and the other dogs, although I'm still learning something she calls..um.. boundaries? I have never been the dominant dog, but one of the dogs here is letting me get away with it, so I'm trying that on for size. I'm really still a chicken with a loud bark. (don't tell the Great Dane, ok?) I would love to go live in a home that will keep me forever. I have had three already and just haven't found the right one. I think its because I was really hyper before I was unbroken... um... fixed. Now I'm just sorta hyper. I'll stop when someone tells me to. I don't even do anything naughty when left home alone! All I really need in this world is someone to snuggle with who has a back yard and can throw a ball for me. |
