(NOTE: Due to my hearing impairment, I will need a home with a fence, another dog and someone that is
home more often (ex: at home parent, work at home, work opposite shifts, retired, etc)
UPDATE 11/17/08 - Nunzio is doing great. He was neutered almost 2 weeks ago. He also has gained 3 lbs.
Obedience training went well. He responds great as long as I have chicken in hand. We are still working on
not jumping on all the new people we meet.
He really enjoys digging in our sons old sandbox. He digs himself a hole and just lays in there until he can
spring a "surprise" attack on his sister Brandi.
We continue to enjoy him more and more every day.
UPDATE 10/18/08 - Nunzio is doing great. We are still in our obedience training. I opted for one on one
training to start because of his hearing loss. I am planning on group after. He does well at home with listening
unless there is another distraction. But I am sure it will all come in time.
As I write this I am waiting for my cert for the low cost spay/neuter to arrive. Once it does he will be
neutered.
It is taking some time to get him to not chase the cats. He and Brandi get along great. They keep each other
busy. They take turns being lead dog in their little chase game they play.
We had a welcome to the family Nunz and 1 year anniversay of finding Brandi family get together recently.
Everyone just loved Nunz. He is such a happy dog and we really enjoy him.

8/5/08 - Nunzio here with an update. I went swimming in the lake this weekend & it was fun, fun, fun.
Foster mom says I am a very good boy & that I am growing like a weed, she thinks I will be a big boy. I
have a real big appetite but you couldn't tell by looking at me. Sometimes foster mom just can't imagine
where I am putting all my food. I am not a big fan of the crate & I will whine for a bit when I go in but that is
only because I just love, love, love to be around people. Sometime at night I get a break from the crate &
sleep in the bed with my foster brother & I am a good, good boy and don't get myself into any trouble
in the middle of the night. I try & try & try to get my foster brother to play with me, but he is just
B-O-R-I-N-G!!! He is the most lazy boxer I have ever seen! I would love to go to a home where I can
have a sibling to play with. When my foster brother does not want to play, I will just play by myself. When I
want attention I grab things I know I shouldn't, but that is just to get foster mom to run after me but as soon
as she put her hands on her hips I know she means business & I drop it right away. We have been working
on leash training, I am getting better everyday. I am told that not only am I handsome and smart but I am a
little cuddle bunny. I just love to cuddle and give kisses. I am also doing really good with my house
training, I haven't had an accident in weeks. I love everybody I meet & they say how cute I am, but I still
have not found my forever home. Won't you please adopt me? I have lots of love to give!!!
7/13/08 - Nunzio is doing great. He is a really good boy. He knows "NO" & most of the time does not talk
back ;0). He is pretty mellow for a pup and has little bursts of energy where he runs around the house,
crawls under chairs & flies out the doggie door like he is competing in an obstacle course followed by a little
nap. He is still not very good in the crate & because of complaining neighbors I have been keeping him out
at night & he has just been an angel!!! I can't believe a 4 month old puppy behaves so well. This little guy
can sure snore. It is so cute when he exhales his little lip rumbles. He is a little cuddle bunny, he will cuddle
any opportunity he gets. Amazing to me he actually gets my big guy to cuddle with him. Nunzio will make a
great addition to any home, he is not much of a puupy biter & when he does try & bite he is very very gentle
& such a charmer.
7/5/08 - Nunzio has kennel cough. He started coughing up a storm yesterday so he was at the vet today and
got some meds. I guessed he weighed 15 lbs BOY was I wrong he is 26 lbs!!!
7/1/08 PM - Don't mean to gush, but...Nunzio is in and out of the doggie door all by himself!!! I sware he
is the smartest lil guy!!!!
7/1/08 - It has been a while since I have had a puppy so I was expecting haos. Not with this little guy, he is
so so good. He has not had one accident in the house. He responds very very well to the hand signal for no
& if that does not work a little tap on his neck (Ceaser style) stops him in is tracks. We are working on sit
so I am sure it will not be long before he gets it. Nunzio keeps himself busy playing & chewing on toys. He
has not been puppy biting much & when he starts I just give him a chew toy & he is happy. Overall I am just
amazed
with this little guy and if doesn't go quick he might just have to stay right here!!!!! He has a wonderful
personality & is a big kissy face. His crate training is going well & for the most part I only put him in there at
nap time & when I leave, he whines for a bit then settles right in. He is so good that I leave him out most of
the day. He is trying to get my big guy to play with him & gets a little mad when Bubba pays no mind but
quickly learns his place with a bark or two from the big guy. I can't say enough good things about this sweet
sweet little boy, he is a keeper!!!!
6/29/08 PM - Nunzio spent 5 hours in the crate with no accidents!!! He's a keeper. Here are 2 pics.
6/29/08 - He is a cutie - we are going to call him Nunzio ;0). He was a perfect gentleman on the hour car
ride home.He had a bath, had some breakfast, ran around the yard like a happy little puppy. I just put him
in the crate & he is not liking it one bit. I am sure he will settle in. He is a Doll!!
