| NOTE ** Because I am still a baby, I will only be placed in a home where someone is home often, such as retired, work at home, work opposite shifts, stay at home parents, etc. Update 7/5/09 - Just thought I would drop a line to brag to everyone about the most beautiful, sweet, loving boxer in the world. I know everyone says that about their dog but really Myah is the best there is. She has done alot of traveling with us and her two sisters, i take them everywhere I go (except when totally not acceptable like church, the doctors office, dentist.) If I end up anywhere without her everyone is asking for her. She is so loved and has the sweetest personality. Of course she can be a teeneager at time and rebel, especially when I tell her no and she says yes. She will just get down on her front legs and bark and bark at me then when i go try to tell her she is not behaving appropriately she runs and plays 'catch me if you can" all the while still back talking me. my husband thinks its's histerical. She's hard to get mad at because if she knows you are really mad she just starts licking you and looks at you with those "i really am sorry i really am" eyes. She is spoiled and it's hard not too. Her leg is perfectly healed. She is still as skinny as she ever was. I have tried different foods and even a raw meat and veggie diet. She eats when she feels like it, she's a terrible eater. She has been having on and off ear problems. A problem for me but not her. One stinky one that the doctor tested. no yeast. thank God. She loves life and is a very happy girl and loves the cats too. She loves to run and boy can she ever She's a bullet. She's our baby. Don't know what i would ever do without her. Thank you SCBR for the greatest JOY in our lives. lives UPDATE 2/24/09 - Myah is the Queen of the house, Her sister Scarlet lets her get away with everything. To sitting on her face, stealing her bones, climbing in her crate and hogging her blanket. Scarlet is so gentle with her. Myah always keeps us laughing. The whole neighborhood knows her now and looks for her smiling face and wiggling nub. She has really become a talker not much barking just rah rah noises. She is very good at entertaining herself with throwing things in the air and chasing after them. Her little sister Sage is keeping her in line when she gets too leaning and pushing. She goes right in her crate now, doesn't seem to mind anymore. Shes great no matter where I take her and she is great at work she just lays by my feet. Except when her regular fan club comes by to see her. She is Loved. We have two 6 month old Rotties staying for the week and they are having a great time together in the deep snow. They love Myah and Myah loves them. But they can't keep up with her energy. After 10 minutes of running and wrestling they are pooped. It makes for a long nap time though. We are blessed. UPDATE 2/1/09 - Oh, another snowy week. Well that is just fine with Myah, you just keep her out of it. She always has her face buried in it somewhere. My husband has absolutely claimed her as his dog. He is just spoiling her rotten. I think she is the little girl he always wanted. I don't know who has more fun on their outings. I come home to find them both asleep on the couch. She's a real cuddler. When she wants to sleep with you she comes over and gives you those sad eyes and gives you her paw. She is the most fun dog I have ever had. The new neighbors just got a 6 month old boxer puppie Sparky and they just love each other they can play for hours. Then sleep for hours. Shhhhhhhh don't wake her. She plays ball with herself. so funny she throws it in the air then chases after it. What can I tell you. She' the smartest, the cutest, and the funniest dog that has ever been born AND SHE'S MINE. We are so blessed. Thank you Second Chance. UPDATE 12/31/08 - Well we are having the time of our lives!!!! It's been a month since we picked up Myah in Buffalo. What did we ever do without her. She loves to bite the snow flakes as they fall from the sky. She keeps jumping at them like "I better got them first." Leaves are very entertaining. She chases them all over the park field. She runs so fast, she passes them by. That's ok there's many more. For 5 months old she is a couch potatoe. We go out about 5 times a day to run and harrass her sisters. Her leg is still sore at times so I like to go out alot but not for too long. When she is in the house she is sweet as pie, she plays with her toys and sleeps with her best friend Scarlet the GSD. She rarely gets into anything she's not s'pose to. Mostly we are puppy proof. She still does not want to go into her crate when it is time. I think she really doesn't like to be seperated from her adopted MOM Scarlet. We are Blessed! Thank You Second Chance. UPDATE 12/5/08 - My husband and I drove to Buffalo to pick up Myah from Beth and her family on November 23rd. It was a trying morning getting out of the house, and I was so excited about going to pick her up that I cried in fear that it was not going to happen. Once we were on the road the drive, although long, 8 hrs, went very well. Scarlet (our German Shepherd) and Sage (our Sheltie) were looking forward to meeting their new sister. When we layed eyes on her it was love at first sight. She could not get her little body to stop wiggling. Little indeed she is so petite. Well i was wondering if she would be ok on the long ride home. I can't believe for such a young one, how perfect she was. She is just the happiest dog. She loves everyone and such a cuddler. Everyone has settled in nicely and she loves her sisters. She is so intrigued with her brothers, the cats. Scrabble loves Myah and Boggle is trying too, but is more on the shy side. Although he is being very good. We also have two Gelding Q Horses. She is very interested in them and they love dogs. She is dying to get into the paddock. But right now she can only go into the barn with me and only on a leash. She is fine with that. But she is so curious. I can not believe how easy it is to train her to anything new. She is alert and eager. The "come" command is coming along great, except when it is crate time then she runs down the hall laughing at me. She loves our outings in the car and everyone new she meets. She's our Joy. 11/23/08 - Myah has been adopted! 11/10/08 - Hi, My name is Myah. I am a 4 1/2 month old fawn boxer with a black mask. I have a white sock on my front left leg but unfortunately I do not remember what color my front right leg is because I have a cast on it. I was told that I fell out of a two story window and broke both bones in my leg. I am extremely lovable and love to cuddle. I'm going to the vet on Thursday to get an update on my shots and to have my leg rechecked. I'm great with kids of all ages and I get along great with other dogs. (even though they're all so much bigger than me!) My cast doesn't even really slow me down, I love to run around and play. I am very well mannered and I respond to sit and shake. I am housebroken, but I've had a few accidents at night in my crate. Well I gotta go because it's my bed time. I'll have my foster mom give you more of an update after my vet appointment. |
