| 9/5/08 - Mia is wonderful, such a sweety! You can tell she must have had a litter of puppies...typical Mom she doesn't take any crap from the boxer boys. Lucky is literally twice her size and she growls and stands her ground with him! The pitiful look on his face when she puts him in his place is priceless! I filled the kiddie pool yesterday and she stood there like a bathing beauty, loll!! She will make an exceptional companion for somebody. All she needs is Love! 9/2/08 - Mia is a VERY sweet, good girl who will love anybody. She deals with the two BIG boxer boys very effectively. No fighting, just a well timed grow when needed! 8/25/08 - This petite lady is VERY sweet, she loves to lounge around with you and will follow you around like a shadow. When I introduced her to the two male boxers here she growled at them through the gate. Later on my husband and I introduced them one by one. I made sure she knew the pecking order. She has not thrown her weight around at all or growled when it wasn't in necessary. She pretty much follows the boys around and has not yet started to play with her toys. She seems to enjoy her new bed and looks VERY sad that she is not allowed to sleep on OUR bed...She is a great watchdog she seems to be very aware and on "guard" Once she gets used to it here I think she will blossom. I have not had any young children around so I cannot speak to that. But, she is okay with the teenagers from across the street. Mia is a very mellow queen of all she surveys...if you are looking for a regal and loyal companion this is the girl for you!! |
