NOTE ** Because I am still a baby, I will only be placed in a home where someone is home often, such as
retired, work at home, work opposite shifts, stay at home parents, etc.
UPDATE 6/23/08 - Maverick is adjusting very well to our his home he loves playing with his sister.
Maverick got fixed on thursday and he is doing well. He also got his hernia fixed, he is dying to play
with his sister but they can't rough house for a couple more days. Maverick finished his first obedience
class. We signed him up for a different one and he is enjoying it. Maverick and Brina are on an invisible
fence and are doing great.
UPDATE 4/5/08 - Maverick is adjusting very well to his new home. He loves playing with his sister
Brina. We will be starting puppy classes this wednesday can't wait. He is doing good with house
training he goes to the door now when he has to go out. The crate training is going well also. Maverick
and Brina love the kids from my daycare. He had tape worm but it is now fixed and will be going to the
vet in a couple of weeks to get his booster shot. Maverick loves to give kisses and loves to cuddle
under the covers.
UPDATE 3/3/08 - Hello All,
We just picked up Maxim from Jill yesterday. He is an awesome pup. We are going through the "tough
love" crate period as I write this. I just want to thank Jill and all the other foster parents out there.
Without them many dogs would not have the opportunity that they do now. Not enough can be said
about the love and care that these foster parents give these dogs. They don't get the recongnition that
they really should for all the time and patients they have put in.
Again thanks to the foster care of my two SCBR dogs Brina and Maxim.
3/2/08 - Maxim has been adopted!
1/31/08 - Jingle's boys will be 4 weeks old tomorrow and will officially be ready for adoption on
February 29th when they turn 8 weeks old. They will go to the vet for their first puppy vaccine in 2
weeks, we will have a fecal done as well and deworm them if necessary. Since the pups were born in
the Buffalo area and it's hockey season my daughter decided they should be named after Buffalo
Sabres players. So we have
Kotalik (Kota), Maxim and Miller. The pups are very boxery (we can guarantee 50%) and for the
other half of their parentage well, they will keep us guessing for sure. I would venture a guess and say
their daddy was a boxer mix. All the boys have square, wrinkly muzzles and boxery heads. They are
also quite vocal (another boxer trait). My neighbor came over to see them today and she couldn't
believe the barks/growls/grunts were from the puppies.
Maxim was the first born and the biggest pup. His brothers have very quickly caught up to him though
and he is not much bigger anymore. Maxim just kind of goes with the flow and is eager to explore but
takes things at his own pace. He loves, loves, loves to play with his brothers. He is a lap dog already
and loves to be held and cuddled. Maxim really seems to like the bigger dogs. He spent a lot of time
trying to play with my dogs through the gate today. Even barking at them as if to invite them into his
"area". Unfortunately Max is
still too small to rough house with the big guys so that will have to wait. Maxim obviously has no
concept of his size because he honestly thought he could hold his own against my 3 big males. It was
so darn cute! Maxim is fawn with a black muzzle. He is super adorable! More Updates coming soon!
