| UPDATE 2/6/09 - Hello everyone, Our Macho died early this morning. We adopted him early December 2008. He started becoming ill last Sunday and we took him in and the vet did lots of test and treatments, but nothing worked. He either had liver failure, cancer or Valley Fever. He LOVED sleeping on our bed, right between us and that is where he passed. In his too short time with us he quickly became a cuddle muffin. Macho, Macho man, he was the man. 12/08 - Macho has been adopted! 10/3/08 - Macho will have been here a week tomorrow and what a dream boy he has been. If you are looking for a low key dog who does not jump on you, run from you, and just wants to be your companion then Macho is your man.. If you have young kids or grand kids Macho is your man. If you have other dogs Macho is your man. If you would rather not have your dog on your furniture or bed then Macho is your man, All he wants is a warm loving home with a dog bed. He does not need to be crated and has had no accidents in the house when left alone. I even left a bag of dog treats on the kitchen table today and nothing was disturbed. How good is he... Macho could be your man.... 9/28/08 - I was not going to write so soon, but I was afraid Macho would turn a few people away with him coming from being an outside dog. He has been a perfect gentlemen. Not one accident nor have I had to stop any. He just waits to go out. He slept the whole night without an incident and does not even need to be on leash. We were outside this afternoon off leash and never tried to leave the yard. Even two ladies could not entice him to walk away....He is very content to be with you. 9/27/08 - What a sweet dog Macho is. Moving...no pets allowed....a story we hear all too often and poor Macho is the victim. Macho is said to be good with kids and other dogs, but no cats please. For the last 4 years, Macho was kept as an outside dog....living in a pen 24 hrs a day. We feel this is no way for a dog to live and we want Macho to know what it's like to live in a home and be a real part of a family. He may a need a little patience with his housebreaking, but it should not take him long. He has only been here for a couple of hours and has already settled down for a nap. Macho is waiting for a new family to give him his true forever home, could it be you? |
