GURGLE => Giambi (boxer/mastiff? mix)
|
NOTE ** Because I am still a baby, I will only be placed in a home where someone is home often, such as
retired, work at home, work opposite shifts, stay at home parents, etc.
UPDATE 1/12/09 - Giambi is finally getting much better. We had some bad health problems with him but
everything seems to be under control. He was loosing so much weight and so quickly. The vet said he was
about 20 pounds under weight for his age. He was treated for worms and some other stomach issues and is
now putting on weight very quickly. We are still working on house breaking him...for some reason he is
convinced that the carpet is the same thing as the grass but hopefully he will learn the diffrence. For his first
Christmas he went with us to North Carolina where he met all his cousins..5 dogs plus him was crazy! He
had the best time running around in the yarm weather (it's been freezing in NY) and playing with all his new
friends. He was even perfect the entire car ride. Him and sister Bailey (a puggle) are still attached at the hip.
They love to snuggle together every single chance they get! Giambi truly is a wonderful puppy!
Thank you SCBR!
UPDATE 8/25/08 - Well so far so good. Gurgle(Giambi,Yes, he's already a Yankees fan)) did great on
plane ride home last week and has been doing great ever since. He loves his new sister Bailey who is a
puggle. They are attached at the hip. They love to play with each other all day and snuggle together all night.
Most of the time Giambi lays on top of Bailey but she loves it. They tuly are priceless together. He had his
first vet visit the other day and he is as healthy as can be! We can't believe how well and how quickly he has
adjusted to his new home. We could not be any happier with our latest addition to our family! Thank you
SCBR!!!!!
8/17/08 - Gurgle has been adopted!
7/28/08 - The Finding Nemo Crew arrived earlier today from Ohio. According to their paperwork they
were surrendered to the shelter on 6/26/08 at 4 weeks old. That would make them 8 weeks old now. They
have been vaccinated (puppy vaccines and kennel cough) and dewormed several times already. The pups
are pretty big for their age. Not necessarily very tall but short, squatty, solid little babies! They look like they
have some mastiff in their heritage (both their builds and coloring). Some of the smaller pups resemble labs.
Maybe Dad was a Mastiff/Lab mix? Guess we will never know! What I do know is they are fat, friendly
and CUTE as can be. Pictures will be coming very soon. You better gets those applications in as they pretty
babies won't be around long!
