COLBY JACK (Boxer Mix)
NOTE ** Because I am still a baby, I will only be placed in a home where someone is home often, such as
retired, work at home, work opposite shifts, stay at home parents, etc.

UPDATE 9/11/08 - Colby has now been with us for two fun-filled months! Even though he has tripled
in weight, he is a slender guy with very loooooong legs.  He loves when he has a rare night of being
allowed to stay all night in bed with mom and dad and does his best to convince them he should be
there every night lol.  Colby is a little confused as to why his sisters now get onto this long yellow thing
every morning, but loves when it comes back in the afternoon and releases them back to the house. :)
Mom is so not a morning person, but has been finding mornings so much more enjoyable due to seeing
Colby's unbridled happiness when let out of his crate...he is SO very happy to see everyone and has
plenty of good morning kisses to pass around!
Colby has truly found a niche in our home and our hearts and we are so grateful that he is here!

UPDATE 8/11/08 - Colby continues to grow and show us his personality more and more everyday. He
is such a little pistol, and a smart one at that.  He does all those things a little puppy does - chases his
tail, steals your shoes, thinks all stuffed animals are his, and gives you those puppy dog eyes that steals
your heart.  Colby has been such a delightful and wonderful addition to our family!

7/11/08 - Colby Jack has been adopted!

6/18/08 - Our newest litter of pups have arrived from a  shelter in West Virginia. They were brought to
the shelter at 3 weeks  old when their 13 year old mixed breed mother could no longer nurse them.  We
are told momma is a Belgian Wolfhound mix but there is no such breed! Daddy  is a purebred white
Boxer (who is now neutered!) All the pups are doing well and  eating like little piggies. They are very
sweet, social and good natured.  The pups will be going in for their first shots and fecal on 6/30. We
have 5 males (2 brindle/3 fawn) and 4  females (1 brindle/3 fawn). The pups are all very "boxery" I
wouldn't be at all  surprised if momma was part boxer.
