SPOT
UPDATE 11/24/07 - Well Spot is doing great and adjusting well to everybody and everything.  He has
shown so much improvement with his obedience.  He graduated in September with honors (LOL).  He
is no longer 61 pounds (as he was when we adopted him) he is now 90 pounds (oh my goodness).  I
think he was alittle more a few months ago but we put him on a diet to lose a few.  He loves to play
with all of his toys, especially the squeeky ones....and he talks back to them which cracks me up.  He is
such a sweetheart and just loves his momma....he follows me wherever i go!  He has been such a
pleasure and has brought so much joy to our family....We love you Spot:)

UPDATE 4/27/07 -  Hi I just wanted to give you an update on Spot.  He is doing very well adjusting to
our family and home.  My son keeps him very busy!  When it is time for bed, Spot is all but ready!!!
We keep Spot in the crate for bed time because that is "his" relax time, otherwise he would be one big
party animal and stay up all night.  He seems fine with that, he sleeps the whole night (which i just love).
Spot just loves everyone that comes to visit us.  He jumps alot at first (which we are slowly breaking
that habit), but calms down in minutes.  He also barks at everybody that walks by or rides their
bike....etc.  I did notice though he HATES the printer, so whenever we print something we have to
make sure we distract him somehow.  He has also had a few accidents in the house, but I know that
will all be better in time.  He hasn't had one in awhile so I am sure it was just because he needed to get
adjusted to the new environment.
We have looked into obedience training at petsmart, and Kyle dog training school, just for prices.
However, a friend of mine just referred us to a place he took his boxer too, and said he is the best.  I
am waiting to hear back from him and I will than let you know when we set it up.
Well I guess that is about all, I will post another update next month.

3/25/07 - Spot has been adopted!

3/21/07 - Spot has been with us for a few days now. He is a pleasure. Typical boxer toddler. Loves to
play and cuddle. He does need some training. He is completely housebroken. Very eager to please. If
you tell him no he stops what he is doing immediately.  Spot should be placed in a home with children
over 10. He has a lot of energy.  He also does not like if you put your hands near his bowl when he is
eating. He will not bite you but he will let you know he doesn't like that. This can be changed. He needs
someone who will show him that they can be trusted and they are not going to take his food away. This
is his only fault that I can find .Everyone that has met him has fallen in love with him. He also falls in love
with everyone. So please give us a call Spot is waiting.

3/20/07 - I am Spot's foster mom. He is a real good boy. A typical young boxer full of energy and
needs someone who can train him. He was neutered on the 12th of March and when he got to my
house he did not have any stitches. They did not watch him and he took all the stitches out. I took him
to the vet and they are treating it as an open wound .I soak the area everyday and i have another weeks
worth of antibiotics for him
I put the (Lampshade on him) so he doesn't lick himself. This morning the lampshade was off.Last night
a friend who is studying to be a nurse said it still doesn't look so good. Very red but not hot. He might
have to be re-stitched.

3/17/07 - Spot arrived at Seaside Boxer Haven today. Thank you Gina & to Donna from another
rescue that contacted us about him & made sure he was all vetted. He is an owner surrender as they
bought him as a cute puppy & did not know how big boxers got or anything about the breed.  He is a
very sweet boy. He does know how to sit when told. He loves to give kisses. He met Zena a female
boxer through the crate and both their tales were wagging. Tomorrow I will introduce them. He also
comes when you call him. Spot was neutered about a week ago and still has his stitches. He is in his
crate right now and being very quiet. More to follow.
