3/27/07 - Spenser has been with us since the beginning of December. He is an absolute love. He is
wonderful with children! My 3yr old is always giving him kisses and hugs. He enjoys it. He follows the
kids around in
and outside of the house. He wants to join in on what ever they are doing. He has the best manners in
the house. He recently found out that he can get on my bed with a running start! LOL He spends his
day on my bed sleeping. He is still the only one that springs into action when someone comes to the
house. The other two dogs are too lazy to move. When the warm weather arrives and stays, he will be
going for walks to lose some of his extra pounds. His forever home will be very lucky to have him! I
will send an updated picture soon.
12/28/06 - Mr. Spenser has settled in nicely and got spoiled by Santa. He loves squeaky toys, stuffed
animals and his large bone that he got and he shares with the others. I call him my old man. He will sit
in front of me and talk to me and he has taught the others to talk as well. It is pretty funny when they all
start talking. He had some adjusting. My female boxer and him had a few battles, but they are best of
friends now. I gave him a bath and he was great. I knew he felt better because he was sitting proud
after. His fur is silky soft now and his ears are clean. Speaking of ears, he has got great hearing.
Nothing slips by him. The other two dogs will be sleeping and not move an inch when someone comes
to the door. Spenser is my door alarm. He lets me know as soon as someone pulls into the driveway.
His forever home will be very lucky to have this fine gentleman.
12/9/06 - Spenser is a gentleman. He has wonderful house manners and I am hoping that they will rub
off onto my two dogs. He let me clip his nails and clean out his ears and give him a good brush. He is
absolutely great with children. My youngest is 3 and he loves to get hugs and kisses from her. He
prefers to sleep in the children's rooms. His little nub never stops wiggling. His forever family will be
lucky to have him. He adjusted very well. He is just a delight to have.
12/3/06 - My family and I have Spenser. He is doing great. He is really attached to my 9 year old son.
He is a wonderful boy. Spenser is an 8 year old owner surrender as his family was going through some
changes and did not feel they had enough time to give him anymore.
