6/2/07 - Smokie is still doing great. She loves to run after whatever toy I can find and throw quickly.
She does great inside the house, calms right down and naps. My husband and I both think she is a great
dog. She rides really well in the car and does well visiting with different people. She had the opportunity
to meet me neice and nephew who are 4 and 6. She did great with them but I have not had her around
any one younger yet to see how she is. I stick with the small lab reteiver mix not only by the way she
looks but also her personality. I do feel that she would prefer to be around another dog her size or
smaller that likes to play but also relax.
5/20/07 - Smokie has been here for one day. I was instantly impressed by her. She is a very cute dog.
For being so young I'm surprised at how well behaved and calm she is. She likes to play and have fun
with the toys. She is getting along great with pugs and Charlie is doing his typical ignore of the new dog.
Smokies fur is so soft and shiny I love to pet her. She reminds me of a small retiever lab mix. Her teeth
are so clean and white it makes me want to go brush my teeth. She will be a great best friend for
someone special. I think she would like a family to play with that is active outside. She was surrendered
to rescue as she does not to do great with small infants.
