PRINCESS
2/26/07 - Princess is getting bolder and bolder with the cats and has tried to nip one of them. Because
of this I am recommending that she not be placed in a home with cats. She just doesn't want to leave
them alone, and is always on the alert when on is in the room. I don't know what would happen if she
and a cat happened to be in the same room and the cat didn't have an escape route. I think I want to
err on the side of caution and say "NO" cats! Her housebreaking is very good. Not nearly so many
accidents as in the past, but I still haven't caught her "way" of trying to let us know just when she does
have to go out.

She continues to be a sweet little snuggle bunny and just loves to give "flea bites" when playing with
people. She was very good when I gave her a bath and didn't fight me. She smells so much better!

2/18/07 - Princess has a very good appetite, but doesn't appear to gain any weight. She is just a very
active boxer. She has a lot of muscle! So far, she plays well with the other dogs, but doesn't understand
the concept of "toys". She does understand bones and loves to chew. She also loves to play with
people, esp. the hands. Her middle name should be "Snuggle Bunny". She is so sweet and if your lap is
empty, she wants to occupy it. Typical Boxer, she has to check every noise and movement. She still
wants to chase the cats, but stops on command. I think it is more curiosity than anything else. I think she
might be ok with little kids, she is so very gentle with people in general.  As boxers go, she is really very
calm.

2/5/07 - The petite Princess arrived at the Log Cabin a little after 6 pm last night and all introductions
went very well! She refused supper and I didn't press the issue at all. She was terribly thirsty! She got a
Milkbone at bedtime and it was gone this morning. She fussed a bit about being put into the crate and
then settled down nicely and I didn't hear anything all night. This morning she went out with the others
and while I was dressing came in and made a puddle on the rug. She ate breakfast and I went out with
them and insisted that they all attend to business. Princess took care of all business like the young lady
she is. She was very nervous last night and did a lot of pacing. This morning she is much calmer and
learning the routines around here. She is a
quick study where the dog door is concerned, which is why I had to go out with them! I will be making
an appointment today with Dr. Matt to make sure she isn't pregnant and to get her spay appointment.
Neither she or King were neutered! She does "sit" on command. I will let you know more, as I find out
more. I cannot imagine this petite little girl not being adopted very soon.
