PASHA
UPDATE 9/19/07 - Pasha and I are doing well.  She has offically taken over my bed and my couch! :)
She has made herself right at home! She has her own "hallway" where she eats and plays - what a
mess, she is having fun!! She must think its funny to continually chew up her frisbie - guess she's
wondering when target might run out of replacements, good thing they haven't yet!  We are getting a lot
of excercise, she enjoys her 3 mile trek a few times a week, we even met Jade (her boxer cousin) on
our last walk which was fun for them.  We will keep you posted, all is well for now!

UPDATE 9/6/07 - Boy, it seems longer than just a few months. Pasha and I are settling together very
well. She is a great companion. She just loves to cuddle. She has done great with obedience and has
calmed down a lot. Still many, many overpowering hugs and kisses but we continue to work on it. She
has fun playdates with her cousin (my brother's boxer, Jade that he and his wife adopted from second
chance about 3 years ago) She comes to work with me and seems to enjoy the time outside with me.
Will update again soon, Thanks again for a great match!

UPDATE 7/14/07 -   Pasha is adjusting very well here at her new home.. she is very playful but calming
down to the people she knows very well. She has had a lot of new faces come to visit her along with
my brother and sisters dogs which she gets along with very well.  her obedience traning is going well
and will forward her certificate soon.  She loves truck rides and does very well going to work with me.
Will update soon, thank you!

6/17/07 - Pasha has been adopted!

6/14/07 -   Pasha has been a real dream house guest.  I was told that Pasha could not be left alone
without her having accidents in the house.  I think that she was never on a schedule or was never
properly house trained.  It has taken me three days to get her on a schedule and I have now left her
uncrated in the house for up to five hours with no mess what so ever.  I did crate her in the beginning
and she was fine with that but did cry a little.  So she will fit into whatever style you would prefer crating
or uncrating.  She sleeps with me during the night and most nights not a peep out of her.  One night she
woke me up as she needed to go out then right back to bed.  We have started walking now when more
people are out and about and she is great with all people and animals.  Although I have no other dogs, I
think see will be fine.  She shows no real interest on our walks.  Pasha will have to be watch around
children but only because she could lick them to death and might knock them over.  Obedience training
will help in that area.  She is very smart.  Pasha is a people dog, she loves to be with you and has no
real interest in running out of the house.  Once when taking the trash out I forgot to close the door and
she followed me. Once outside she just wanted to play and was jumping around.  I played with her and
then walked back into the house and she was right on my heels.  I feel that I need to come up with
some bad manners that Pasha needs to work on but honestly, the worst is that she does love to kiss
and lick you and sometimes that can be a little annoying but with a firm NO she will stop.  Maybe it is
her way of saying please love me, pick me to take home, make me a part of your family.  Please
answer her prayers
.

6/13/07 -
I wrote a day or so ago regarding Pasha's toe nail and heard nothing back so I took her to the
Vet's to day.  He had to remove most of her nail and then banadaged her up.  She looks so funny but is
taking it well.  This girls is so darn  cute and is so good.  Not sure about all the stories told about her.  I
have her house trained and have left her for five hours alone for the last two days and nothing.  I do not
think they ever took the time to train her at all.  Her biggest annoyance.  She does not know when to
stop kissing and licking you, but she is learning the FIRM NO command.  She needs to go fast I'm
falling hard here......

6/10/07 - Pasha came to us from NY.  She was an owner surrender that we were getting in, but they
dumped her at a shelter instead.  Luckily it was a great shelter we work with & we were able to get her
out right away.  She rode wonderfully in the car, but would rather be up front with you but did settle
down once we got moving and did not hear from her until we stopped. She is really a pretty, petite, girl.
Having her only for a couple of hours I feel this girl wants someone to shower her with love. All she
wants is to give you kisses. This is a young girl and my first impression - she has not had a lot of
obedience training, but just today between her Aunt Robin who rescued her out of the shelter and me
she has already learned to sit. Keep checking back with new updates on this girl. She will make a great
addition to any family.
