UPDATE 2/6/08 - Hi All,
Martha has settled in quite well as far as our home and car.(loves to ride) She lost quite a bit of weight
when she fisr got here and we were both pretty worried. Our vet has been very helpful and we now
have her on Ultra Allergetic food and fresh veggies and shes doing great. Also found out she has severe
seperation aniexty and is on meds to no availe yet. She claws her neck to the piont of bleeding. It much
better than it was when we got her but some spots probably will never have hair because of scar tissue.
All in all we both love her to pieces and are doing our best to work though all her problems. Would
never give up on her now. Thank you Boxer Rescue for our Martha Mae
12/9/07 - Martha has been adopted!
12/2/07 - Amazing, Beautiful, Smart, Funny, Cratetrained, Housebroken, Playful, Great on a leash,
Loves toys, Best kisses in town, Likes kids, These are just a few ways to describe Martha. Martha
truely is an awesome dog that would make a family with no other pets very happy. She is sweet, calm
and a true loyal friend. Marha doesn't mind walking by dogs, or seeing them on the other side of a fence
she just doesn't want to live with them. I truely feel this is a special dog. Do you have a home, with lots
of love and time for this girl.
10/31/07 - Martha has been with us for a few days now and we are still getting to know her. She seems
a little stressed and is still adjusting to her surroundings. I already know however that she forgets to
worry and gets all excited every time my 13 year old son enters the room. Martha defiantly loves kids.
She has not really warmed up to my husband or I yet but she plays fetch with my son every day. She
even lets go of the ball when she brings it back. Martha is wonderful in her crate and walks right in for
a treat. She walks well on a leash and she loves to go for rides in the car. I hope to be able to share
more about this wonderful girl once she settle in.
