LIZZY
4/1/07 - Lizzy continues to do well at her foster home.  She has been loving the nicer weather lately and
enjoys being outside with her foster sisters.  She finds a nice sunny spot on the deck and she's all set.
She loves to drink out of the garden hose, so if you're trying to wash or water something outside, look
out, she's right there wanting a drink!!  Her skin and coat are showing improvement & her fur is
growing back in from the seasonal hair loss.

Lizzy would love a home to call her own!!  She is such a good, sweet girl.  She loves giving kisses to
both her foster parents & her foster sisters!!  She loves being by her humans, so you would have a
great companion to watch TV with. Someone to keep you company when you're on-line.  She does
ride well in the car & is a great co-pilot.  She loves it even more if you stop at Petco!!   And don't even
think about going to bed without her!  She is very petite and unlike my other 2 boxers, she curls up very
nicely on the bed at night.  She has also slept on the dog bed at the foot of the bed.  She has no issues
while eating and she takes treats very gently.   She also walks very nicely on the leash.  She is
completely housebroken and sleeps through the night without any problems.  When we are not home,
she is not crated.  She just finds a spot to relax in until we return.   She "communicates" with you
through her crying/whining.  If she needs to go out, if the water dish is empty, she lets you know!!  She
is truly a great dog & has fit in nicely with our pack here.  She is patiently waiting for her forever home
to call for her.

3/4/07 - Hi from Lizzy everyone!!   How'd you like my new pictures??  Am I cute or what!!??!!
Anyway, things have been going great here at my foster home.  I'm really starting to feel comfortable
here.  I began playing with the two resident boxer girls, running around the backyard, and enjoying my
morning walks.  Foster Mom said I'm really good on the leash.   And my skin is starting to get better.
We think the cause of my skin itchies is an allergy.  Right now I'm on a few supplements for my skin,
one is salmon oil capsules & the other is melatonin to help with my seasonal hair loss.  Foster Mom is in
the process of transitioning my dog food to a sensitive skin Salmon food.   Please don't let this deter
you from adopting me!!  The supplements really help me & they are not that expensive.  I'm a really
well-behaved girl who knows some basic commands, such as sit, paw, other paw, come and I'm
housebroken as well.  I even cry at the door to let you know I gotta go.  I really enjoy being in the same
room as my family.  So if you're watching TV on the couch, I'm with you, but if you get up, I'm going to
follow!!  I'm not fond of being gated in a room by myself or crated when you are home. I love to
snuggle and just be close to my family.  I'm a real affectionate dog who loves to give kisses not only to
my humans, but to my foster sisters as well.  If you are looking for a sweet petite boxer cutie, please
call today and ask for Lizzy!!   That's all until next time.......Love, Lizzy

2/19/07 - Hey everyone.....it's Lizzy!!  Things have been going great at my foster home.  I've asked my
Foster Mom to schedule me for a photo shoot because the pictures on my page certainly do not do a
girl justice!!  I'm way cuter than those pictures.   And not only am I cute, I'm a GOOD GIRL too!!  I'm
a very sweet, petite gal who enjoys laying in the sun when it comes through the window, snuggling with
Foster Mom or Dad, and playing with my foster sisters.  There are two other boxers for me to play
with.   I just starting joining in a few days ago.  I surprised Foster Mom when I grabbed a toy and
started playing.  I was also running around the yard the other day too.  Foster Mom said I run like a
deer.  And speaking of outside, I do all my "business" outside.  I did need encouragement to go outside
in the pouring rain (yup-sorry all NY foster dogs under all that snow-we got rain), but I will go out.  I
do walk nicely on the leash and I was well-behaved on my trip to Petsmart.  Foster Mom took me
there to buy me a doggie shirt.  You see, I have some itchies on my skin and when I have a shirt on, I
don't itch.  I'm taking some medicine for my itchies & hopefully my skin will be better soon.  Anyway,
the real reason I'm writing is to tell everyone that I cannot wait to find my forever home.  I love it hear at
my foster home, but I dream of having a home to call my OWN again.   If I sound perfect for you,
please call today and ask for Lizzy!  Until next time.......

2/11/07 - Lizzy has been with us for a week now and what a sweet girl she is.  She went to the vet for
her heartworm and some issues with her skin.  She was heartworm negative & also tested negative for
any type of mites.  We are currently working on getting her itchies under control.  We have switched
her dog food over to lamb and rice and she is taking some meds the vet prescribed. She gets along
great with her two foster sisters.  She is housebroken & she will cry at the door to let you know when
she has to go.  She is not fond of the crate.  We have left her alone for short periods of time and she
has not gotten into any trouble.  She just finds one of the dog beds and hangs out until you return.  She
has not shown any interest in playing with any of the dog toys, but I'm hoping she will in time.  If you are
looking for a super sweet boxer girl, she is the one for you.

2/5/07 - I would like to introduce everyone to Lizzy.  Lizzy was pulled from a shelter in PA by a friend
of SCBR.  She will always be grateful to the people that helped get her to SCBR.   So far she has been
getting along with the 2 resident boxer girls.   She is a very petite girl and could stand to gain a few
pounds.  She responds very well to her name, knows sit, paw, give kiss.  She is a little confused and
sad from the changes in her life.  She loves to snuggle & she is the perfect boxer sized lap dog!!
Pictures & more to follow as we get to know her better.

2/3/07 - Here is Lizzy, maybe 5 years old, rabies and all shots, nice to my dogs and really loves my
boyfriend.  Her life partner was euthanized with Cummings disease yesterday.   She's feeling lonely.
She a mild mannered, good girl.
