2/3/07 - Danielle and I took her today over to meet Charlie. Many of you may remember him from
years past pet fests. Last year he was there with Penny whom he adopted from me a couple of years
ago. He called me on thanksgiving in tears to tell me that Penny had gotten cancer and had to be PTS.
He said he would love to have another boxer but needed time to get over Pennys loss first. I was
hoping we would get in another girl that would be a good match for this man as he adores his dogs.
They are the center of his life, his best friend and companion. Everyone in town knows his dogs name
and he doesn't ever leave them home alone. Well we got in touch with him last night to see if he was
ready for another dog. Jessie was available and local. He wanted to meet her today and it was love at
first sight. She found the treats in his shirt pocket and bonded well. Good Luck Charlie and Jessie.
1/31/07 - Jessie has been with us for about 3 days now. She was extremely stressed for the first 2 days
but much better now. Its understandable after being with your family for 6 years and now just being left
with new people. She panted for 2 days and wouldn't eat, but she is much better now! Eating and
playing with her foster brother and sisters. I didn't crate her last nite because she seemed to stress more
and it was fine, no accidents. She is a really sweet dog she listens very well, we are working on getting
her not to pull on leash. She is super good with kids, she slept on my daughters bed last nite. She is a
super girl looking for a family to love her, as she has much love to give to them!!Could this sweet girl be
the four legged friend your waiting for???
