11/14/06 - Poor Gizmo is still waiting for his new home to come long. This boy is very nice & loves to
play with any foster dog that would let him. He is an energetic boy & would be great in a home where
he could get some exercise either by playing ball, going for a jog with you or playing with another
playful dog in a fenced yard. He will need a home with either no kids or teens & up as he plays too
rough for younger kids. This boy needs to get into his new home where he can have more play time
now that the younger foster dogs are gone at his foster home. Won't you find a spot in your home &
heart for Gizmo?
7/22/06 - Gizmo is settling in slowly. He is still a little nervous after being dumped at a shelter and then
finding himself back in his foster home after almost a year but he is coming around. The first couple of
days he would go in his crate and lay down after a couple of minutes but now he likes to be out with the
family. He has not shown any interest in playing yet but he love to cuddle. I think once he feels more
comfortable he will start playing again. When I fostered him the first time he was pretty high energy.
Gizmo is a wonderful boy that needs a home where he will be safe and loved for the rest of his life.
7/19/06 - Poor Gizmo was surrendered by his family this week to a shelter that thankfully called us!
Updates & more info soon from his foster home.
8/05 - Gizmo was adopted!
7/8/05 - Gracie and Gizmo came from a large city shelter with their sisters Thelma and Louise. They are
great puppies who have adjusted well to their new surroundings. Gizmo loves playing with all other
dogs but Gracie is scared of other dogs and needs some socialization. Gracie is definitely the more timid
of the two but she has come a very long way in the short time she has been here. Gizmo is full of life and
ready to face any new situation. I have taken them for rides in the car and they both sat on the back
seat and seem to really enjoy the rides. Gizmo looks like a german shepherd but Gracie looks more like
a husky. The puppies have not had a real good start in life so they need families where someone is
home most of the time and can house break and socialize them.
