| 2/26/07 - IT IS WITH A SADDENED HEART THAT I HAVE TO WRITE THIS: FELON MUST BE SENT TO THE BRIDGE, HE IS NOT GETTING ALONG WITH OTHER PEOPLE AND HE BIT MY DAUGHTER UNPROVOKINGLY. THANK GOD HE DIDNT BREAK SKIN BUT THATS DUE TO HER CLOTHING. I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND HOW HE CAN DO SO WELL WITH ME AND MY HUSBAND AND NOT MY DAUGHTER OR OTHER PEOPLE NOW THAT WE SHOWED HIM LOVE AND AFFECTION. I FEEL SO SAD THAT SUCH A BEAUTIFUL DOG HAS TO BE PUT DOWN BECAUSE OF A LACK OF SOCIALIZATION. I JUST HOPE THAT HE IS FREE OF THIS ANGER AT THE BRIDGE AND CAN BE HAPPY AND RUN FREE WITH ALL THE OTHER BABIES UP THERE. GOD SPEED FELON WE WILL MISS YOU! 2/20/07- Hello to everyone from wonderful NY, just a short update on Felon. He went to the vet and was neutered, he also had some bumps and warts removed and let me tell you he has not missed a step he is still on the go. He is obsessed with Rocco and wont leave him alone! Rocco don't seem to mind as of yet! I am getting ready to introduce Felon to my daughter if I can get her to stay home long enough she is 10 and on the go. I am hoping his social skills have improved and he will not be growly, we are taking baby steps to properly socialize him with people. He is doing wonderful, learning to trust people so I am sure it will be soon that he can love and be in his new forever home. I will keep you posted on the socializing. 2/13/07 - Well hello from snowy NY, Felon went to the vet for a general check up and his distemper/parvo shot, he goes in Wednesday for his neuter and the removal of a toe lump. Felon is doing well and is only 73 lbs not 90 like originally stated, he does need about 5 - 10 lbs though because his ribs and spine are slightly showing. Him and Rocco get along but....we will see after the neuter if things change much. Felon is getting better at the crate thing but still whines a little Felon is a good dog he walks great on a leash and likes to play with Ice (the resident puppy), he also likes to snuggle on the couch rather than the floor but will sleep on the floor if there is no room. He is a good looking dog and a loveable boxer boy, he does however have some trust issues and we are working on that by trying to socialize him with other people. He was fairly well behaved at the vet just a little grumble out of him but other than that he was fine. More to come on this special boxer boy! 2/9/07 - Well Felon definitely does not like the crate he whines and whines and did I mention whines? lol! I don't think him and Rocco are gonna get along I had Felon out and on the couch with me and Rocco just had that stiff who the heck are you look or should I say stance?! He finally ate good I gave him some kibble and wet canned food he devoured it! Right now he is in the crate whining and pulling on the crate bars, he has only been in there a short while. He seems to be all right with other dogs with proper introductions it's just my dogs are being jerks. LOL! I sent pics in so hopefully he will be up and running before this posts. Will keep you all up to date on how Felon is doing he is a super sweet dog who almost was put down. 2/8/07 - Well Felon has been with us for a couple of days and boy oh boy did he need an attitude adjustment! lol! He seems to be doing fine so far with me and my husband I haven't tried my daughter near him yet, being very cautious with her near him as he was kind of growly with us at first. I introduced him to my puppy Ice and they get along great playing and carrying on. I'm taking it slower with the others cause they can be dominant at times. He goes in Monday for a general check up then he will be neutered. I will keep you updated on our adventures with Felon! |
