| 1/23/07 - 1/20/07- Hello everyone, sorry it has been so long since I have updated Chase but we have been lazy around here lately with the snowy weather we are all snuggling to keep warm! Chase is doing very well here, once in a blue moon him and my alpha female get into it but everyone gets over it real quick. Chase loves to sleep upstairs with me he is the only one allowed upstairs because of the cat, the other dogs would try to eat it but Chase just walks on by like there is nothing there! And he dont get into the kitty litter box the others do yuk! Chase likes to play with stuffed toys, it is hilarious to watch he flips it around over his head then chews on it for awhile but you have to watch cause he'll chew the stuffing right out of it lol! he doesn't seem to mind the snow too much but when it comes time to go out he does his business and is right back inside. Dont want to freeze his tootsies lol! Chase is definitely ready for his own family and home I think he is tired of the puppy here and would like to settle down with his own humans and his own toys. So if your looking for a snuggle bug and a great companion Chase is your guy! 12/15/06- Let's see where do I begin? We put the tree up around Thanksgiving and so far so good! Only one ornament got eaten so far but not by me , I'm a good boy. Oops I just messed up, there are these pretty packages under the tree with bows and ribbons, well I thought they were for me to play with cause they are so pretty and all. But I was wrong they were for the skin kid they are called presents and they are not supposed to be opened until Christmas. Oops my bad! lol! I am trying not to hang around the puppy too much because he seems to always be getting into trouble and I don't want it to wear off on me lol! I am being good and learning the rules it's not too bad here but I wish I had my own family for Christmas. Don't you want me home for Christmas I'll even wear a bow if you want. I want to help someone open their presents. Besides if you don't hurry and bring me home Santa won't know where to find me! 11/13/06 - Chase here, just wanted to update you on what has been going on in my foster home. Mom says I am a good boy and will probably find a home of my own real soon. I love to play with toys and run in the yard. Mom says she cant believe I am 8 yrs old I am very spry and full of energy. I like playing with the puppy here his name is Ice he is fun to play with, we like to box each other and run in the yard chasing each other it is a riot to watch I am sure cause mom is always laughing at us! I am a bed hog too, mom is always rearranging me on the bed so she dont fall off lol! I sleep through the night without any accidents and get up around 7 a.m. to do my business then I lay on the couch till the skin kid comes down to get ready for school. She plays with me a little then has to get dressed and go to school. Mom says I dont have to be crated because I am such a good boy , but I do get locked up when she goes out because of the other dogs, she dont trust them. I guess she thinks they will beat me up or pick on me cause I am the new guy! I can hold my own with them but I wish I had a family of my own so I wouldn't have to share the love lol! Well, that's it for now I will keep you updated on how I am doing at my foster home, see ya soon! 10/28/06- Chase has been with us for about a week now, he is a wonderful dog and needs to attach himself to someone either for security or for the loving lol! There are 4 other dogs here and he seems a little skiddish around them still. I think because he was an only dog for eight years it will take him a few to get used to all the commotion my crew can cause. He has no aggression or care in the world with them, it's my dogs that want to pick at him and he lets them know who is boss - he doesn't put up with any crap from them lol! He has seen the cat and is intrigued but doesn't bother him. He hogs the bed and covers so you might have to fight a little to be comfortable at night. We are still working on the mounting issue but it is getting better. All in all Chase is a great dog and a very young 8 yr old, he would make any home a happy home! 10/23/06 - I PICKED UP CHASE FROM HIS TEARFUL MOM YESTERDAY. SHE IS GOING THROUGH SOME MAJOR CHANGES OUT OF HER CONTROL AND WANTED TO DO WHAT WAS BEST FOR CHASE. HE IS A VERY GOOD BOY AND IS IN GENERAL POPULATION WITH MY OTHER DOGS, WITH A LEASH ON FOR NOW OF COURSE. WE HAVE HAD SOME MINOR MOUNTING ISSUES GOING ON BUT WE ARE CORRECTING THAT AS IT HAPPENS. ALL IN ALL, CHASE IS A WONDERFUL AND YOUNG 8 YEAR OLD! PICTURES TO COME SOON, HE'S A CUTIE!! |
