10/27/07 - After almost a year in his foster home & the right home just not coming along from Charlie, he is staying right where he is. His foster home is happy to have him.
4/29/07 - My man Charlie is doing great. He has played with his squeaky hot dog so much it is time for a new one. It is still amazing to me how much he loves his toys. He continues to do good with the other dogs. I still feel that he would like less crazy pups around him. He does a great job of ignoring how crazy the pugs can get. He would make a great and loyal best friend for someone.
3/15/07 - It has been awhile since I have done an update on Charlie. The good news is Charlie is doing better than ever. Unfortunatley his life long companion Sara was adopted about a month ago now. I was very worried about my man Charlie, but he is doing great. The week Sara left we had to get him a haircut because his hair was getting in the way of his eye. That day he became known as the fluffy butt and he got a new best friend, a hotdog squeaky toy.
I feel that he is actually doing better with my dogs than he did with Sara here. He was probably protecting her. Charlie and his squeaky toy are very happy and I'm very proud of him. Lately he has done great with new dog and people visitors, better than my crazy pugs. He has become more attached to me and shows alot of affection. I'm happy to share with everyone how well Charlie is doing and I want to add that I think he would like to have a pretty calm life.
1/3/07 - Charlie and Sara had a good christmas. They seemed to really enjoy themselves when they got their new toys. Charlie has formed an attachment to one of the squeaky toys. If he leaves it outside he must go get it asap. Sara loves to have her belly rubbed by anyone who is sitting near her. She is such a sweetheart she loves to cuddle with me.
12/2/06 - Charlie and Sara are doing very well. They have adjusted to my house and my two dogs. They are both very sweet dogs and love to be on your lap. Charlie does well for only having one eye, he goes up the stairs and and down sometimes. They prefer to be together when napping or going to bed for the night. I feel that they like things to be calm most the time. They love to lay on the back of the couch and look out the window all day. I really enjoy having them here- they are good dogs.
11/20/06 - Charlie has infrequent seizures, he only does good with female dogs, he has one eye but does okay He is a friendly dog and has taken to me nicely Sara is very cute small and friendly, she has had puppies when she was younger. They have always been together and are like an old married couple.
