9/3/07 - Hello all sorry so late but Brutus went home yesterday to his very loving and understanding
new family in Rochester, NY! He was a little shy well a lot shy but he went and with a slight push got
in the car for his 1 1/2 hr trip to his new home. Hope all is well and he has a happy spoiled life with
Cassandra and Chris!

8/19/07 - Brutus here, where oh where is my forever home? I am waiting patiently and mom says I am
doing good with my noise problem. I like playing with Ice he is a resident here. I think he has helped me
get over some of the noise issues cause he makes a lot of noise lol! He is always dropping the chewy
ball on the floor and it makes a big thud but I dont jump anymore lol! I am a big dog now! Mom says I
go to the vet tues. to get one more shot! I dont mind them they dont hurt, I'm a big dog now lol! Mom
said the nice lady that called said she was worried that all the noise at her gym would stress me out so
she decided not to take me but that's ok she will find a good dog and I will find a good home !!!!! Well,
Mom wants to get on the computer now so I gotta go, but dont forget me I'm a cutey!
8/14/07 - Well, Brutus weighs 71 lbs! He will be up to date on his shots as of 8/21 & then ready to go
home.
8/11/07 - Well we found out Brutus is afraid of going downstairs, I take him up to bed with me and he
does fine going up with a little coaxing and sleeps through the night like a good boy but when it comes
to morning boy oh boy it's a good thing he only weighs 40 ish pounds cause I have to carry him down
the stairs lol!!!! I need to try and get him around people because he has become a momma's boy he
follows me everywhere!! He needs to build up his confidence with people he is a scaredy cat! Noises,
sudden movement you name it and he jumps. He needs a good stable home to love him and show him
it's ok to be a puppy. He has an appointment Monday to get shots and a wellness check up, along with
heartworm testing. So we will have a more accurate weight on him to see just exactly what I'm lifting
lol!!! He came face to face with the cat and the cat was not happy so we pulled Brutus away so he
didn't get clawed. I think he would do fine with cats that are dog savvy. I was told that he chased the
cat to play and was jumping over furniture to play with the cat but he has been nothing but calm here
with us except when outside with Ice! Brutus is an excellent dog and did I mention very handsome?
lol! He will be getting a lot of calls so hurry and put in your application this one wont be here long!
8/8/2007- Brutus arrived today around 11 a.m. and is gorgeous!! He is a 14 mos old reverse brindle
neutered male and he is very handsome. He is a little nervous but likes the resident pup here, thank
God for Ice lol!He is relaxing in the crate right now but has been out on a leash to meet everyone and
played some in the back yard with Ice. This gorgeous boxer boy wont be here long! He can be a little
rambunctuous(?) but he is a puppy still and will need obedience training and guidance from his forever
home! I tried taking pics of him today so everyone can see how beautiful he is but my flash on my
digital camera is not working so I must operate on it to see what is up. I will have pics by tomorrow I
promise! I am going to make a well check up for him and get his shots while we are there so we know
for sure he is up to date on everything and maybe some dewormer due to his skinny self. His
temporary dad said he was eating junk food at his old house and wasn't putting on any weight so we
will possibly deworm just in case. Get your apps in cause Brutus is a looker and has great potential!
