11/6/07 - Annika arrived at the Log Cabin Sunday evening and is a lovely little (petite) brindle girl of 3
years. She is adorable and I would love to keep her as would anyone else. She is an owner surrender
that came in with Jack due to having too many dogs and not enough money. She is a bit underweight,
but we will soon put a couple of pounds on her. She was fed once a day in her former home. She is
very friendly but a bit tentative at first. She is an accomplished counter-surfer, and very bold and clever!
Nika loves to cuddle, doesn't complain a bit about being crated, cleans up every bit of food and looks
around for more! She has had very little training. She does understand "sit" and "bad". We are still
evaluating about the cats. One cat just warns her off, and another just about attacks. I don't think she
had cats in her former home and is just being curious. She did live with young children and 3 other
dogs. This girl will not be around long! Pictures tomorrow!
