| 1/23/07 - During her spay the vet discovered that Amanda was LOADED with cancerous tumors on most of her vital organs. He phoned as she was on the table......we let the baby go to the bridge :(.. very sad.. 24 hours of freedom :(( but she did not have to die a slow painful death in the puppy mill ...... 1/20/07 - We transported the puppy mill female and owner surrender male toady. The male named Gainer was very playful and full of energy. He is very strong and will be a fun dog for who every gets him. Have fun with this one. The female puppy mill was very quiet and just sat in the middle of the crate. We felt so bad for her. My daughters wanted us to keep her. She is going to need some work. She is very shy but was not bothered by the male. Gainer wanted to play with her the entire ride. We were going down the turnpike and Gainer was jumping around to play. This was our first transport and it was fun. It was a little heart breaking to see the the puppy mill dog but she will go to a better place. Thank you for the oppurtunity to do this, Scott & Jill |
