UPDATE 3/13/07 - This is our last official update on Tyson!!  We've had him 1 year now and can't believe how fast
the time has gone.  He has settled so nicely into our family.  The kids really love him and he is a great outfielder
when we play baseball! LOL!  Tyson is still doing really well with the electronic fence!  He has so much fun with all
his freedom in the yard...it helps him get even muddier!  He absolutely LOVES the snow and will stay out with us
the whole time we go sledding!  He stays so warm from running around the entire time (and that's not an
exaggeration...he runs around the whole time).  He is doing much better when company comes and is such a
good companion.  We love him a whole bunch...thanks SCBR for rescuing him!

UPDATE 9/15/06 - Well, we've had Tyson 6 months now...where does the time go?  Tyson is really doing well in
our family.  He had his first experience away from us when he went to "puppy camp" while we were away on
vacation.  He did fine...he must have been on the alert the whole time as other dogs and other scents get him
really wound up.  He probably sniffed and barked the whole time.  When we brought him home he was happy to
see everyone and then he slept for the whole night!  He just got a new toy...I've never seen one before but it's called
a Hollee Roller...its a hollow ball that looks like a soccer ball.  Its made of rubber and its very easy to pick up.  It is
the new favorite right now.  We're still working on leash manners but other than that, he's great!  Our next update
isn't until March, so we'll see in that update how he does with the Christmas tree:)

UPDATE 7/5/06 - Updates for 1 month, 2 months and 3 months
Tyson is doing really well...he is finding his place in the family!!  The first two weeks after we got him were a really
rough transition period.  The situation definitely needed to get better if he was going to stay with us.  I am so happy
to report that he has really calmed down and he is now used to the household routine.  He also graduated from
puppy classes at the end of June!!  He is a fast learner but he is a little skittish (to say the least) in public,
especially with other dogs around.  Tyson is very distracted outside...it doesn't seem he had much opportunity to
be outside before we got him.  Every bug, flower, rock and animal all seem new to him and very fun to chase:)  He
loves playing fetch, chewing bones and licking out ice cream dishes.  He and our 1-yr-old daughter just celebrated
their birthdays together as they were only born 5 days apart!!  They have a very special bond...she can crawl all over
him and take his bone right from his mouth and he will let her!!  She has gotten into his food dish while he's eating
and he's eaten food right from her hand, very gently.  Its so sweet!!  He likes to play rough and tumble too with our
boys.  He loves to be wherever we are unless that's outside on a warm day...he can't seem to decide if he wants to
be cool inside and just watch us or take the heat so we can be together...he's not so fond of water, so it's hard to
cool him off!!  He is such a great dog and so handsome!!  We love having him and are so glad he's found his
forever home.

3/11/06 - Tyson has been adopted!

3/9/06 - It's been four days since Tyson arrived at Seaside Boxer haven.  I wish my 2-1/2yr old Rocky was as well
behaved!  He came from a family that gave him a lot of love. I know they really miss him.  Tyson and Rocky play
everyday. They are full of so much energy. Its so much fun to watch them box and run after each other. He loves to
play with everyone and any toy you might have. Right now he is playing with a plastic bottle. He also loves to
cuddle.  The last few nights my husband and Tyson make believe they are watching TV.  Tyson curls up next to him
on the couch and put his head in his lap and they take a nap.   He is housebroken and does not steal anything.  He
sits and gives the paw. When you want him to go into his crate all you have to say is go into your house.  He
wanted me to tell you the most important thing you need to know about him is he likes Baskin Robins Mint Chip ice
cream the best!   Every time the phone rings he wants to know if its for him. So please call, he's waiting.

3/5/06 - Tyson is a gorgeous brindle boy that was surrendered due to no time for him.  He loves to play!  He's been
playing with my 2-1/2yr old male boxer. He is very well behaved. He ate and is in his crate taking a nap. Will update
in a few days.
