12/24/05 - Hi everyone Spike here and ready for The New Year.  I'm waiting to begin my new life with my forever
family. I'm looking good feeling good :) I put on some weight and my foster mom keeps telling me just how
handsome I am. I learned something new about myself today. I'm very athletic!!  My foster mom said something
about giving her a heart attack when I jumped the 6 FT fence in the backyard today. wow you had to see me clear it!!
HA she thought the S in my name stood for Spike ......it really stands for SUPER BOXER I'd like a special order blue
cape with that red letter S on it!!!  Well, now I'm leash bound .....because i'm obsessed with the fence now. Foster
Mom say's I will need a family willing to walk me.... For my safety.

12/16/05 - Spike is already showing signs of strong dominance with other dogs. If I could choose the ideal forever
home he would be the only dog. His dominance will become stronger as he get older and as he comes into
himself more as an adult . HE is a TRUE BOXER PUPPY with all the love and challenge that come with him.
He digs, jumped a 5 ft fence. He will need supervision and obedience classes. My experience with pups of this
nature is that when he out grows the mischief he will be the most obedient and and solid friend you could ask for!
He is a very loving  goofy boy who is awaiting his forever home! Do you have the energy for this youngster?... I'll
send him off with a box of Wheaties for ya :)

12/11/05 - Hi, spikey boy here....Hey, foster Mom keeps saying something about a Boxer being able join a circus??
sssheeshhhh  Just because I can jump very high, fly through the air, paws wailing and I can take the baby gate out
in a single bound. What does that have to do with the circus? everyone is a critic these days......lol lol

My crate and house training are going very well ........ I'm so proud of myself. I love the big dog biscuits I get when I
go to bed in my crate.  I'm learning some basis commands and putting on weight slowly but surely.  I love to
snuggle and smooch my foster family..... including the resident  dogs.  got to run i see a puppy treat with my name
on it.......

12/4/05 - Spike is from a litter of 6 boxer babies ...... he and his brother Wally  joined the SCBR Team yesterday
after their former owner decided that it was in their best interest to break up the pack.  He felt they were not getting
the proper attention and wanted more for them.

Spike is a sweet, bouncy boxer adolescent.  Spike has already developed a couple of nicknames- Houdini and
Rubics Cube because he has figured out how to get out of his crate-he literally has figured out how to open it from
the inside- smart boy we have here!  He has not been distructive in any way when he's out on his own. He is a big
love, very tall for his age. Spike is going to be a big boy.  He knows some basic commands but needs to continue
to learn manners.
