UPDATE 10/24/06 -  Hello from Tango and Jazzie.  We have been with our forever Moms for just about 6 months.
We are doing very well.  We completed our obedience classes in August.  Our instructor was so pleased with both
of us.  We paid very close attention to our mom's and their instructions, even though there was an annoying little
dog who barked and barked.
The summer is now gone and we had our first snow on October 20.  There was 2 to 3 inches on the ground by the
afternoon.  We were not too sure about stepping on it.  We both would step and lift our feet.  Then we discovered
the it was cold and fun.  We tried to catch the snow flakes on our tongues, then they would disappear.  The next day
all the snow was gone.  It has turned mostly to rain which has shorted our outdoor playtime.   We play and rough-
house in the house, but we have gotten so big that when we bump into things we often knock them down.   Tango
now weighs a little over 50 pounds and Jazzie is in the mid 40 pound range.

UPDATE 6/28/06 - Hello from Jazzie and Tango.   We haven’t seen our one month update which our Mom
posted, so we will try to summarize our two month stay with our forever Moms.  Our old names were Shaina and
Austin.  One of our forever moms came and picked us up from our foster Mom Dee.  We rode on an airplane from
New Jersey to Watertown, New York.  We are now closer to Canada than we were to NYC when we were staying
with foster Mom Dee.  Tango’s new name came from riding on the airplane.  His name is part of the call letters
on the plane.  Jazzie’s name came partly from one of her foster sister’s and continuing a musical theme.
We got to our forever home on Friday, April 28th 2006 and on Saturday morning we went to see our new
veterinarian Dr. Mary.  Since we got here in April we have seen Dr. Mary several times.  Each time we see her we
get our vaccinations.  We just visited Dr. Mary on Friday, June 23 and got our final vaccinations until we become big
dogs.
Our forever Moms have taught us how to sit and wait.  Boy, do we get impatient waiting for our breakfast and
dinner.   Tango gets very fidgety if he waits too long.  Jazzie sits and waits patiently.  Our forever Moms have told us
that we are going to go to obedience class next week and  will learn some more rules and learn how to become
canine good citizens.   We are just puppies and get so excited about everything.
I (Tango) get to go see and spend the night at Dr. Mary’s.  My forever mom said I am going to get fixed.  I didnâ
€™t know I was broken but if Mom says I need to go, I need go.   She also said that Jazzie, my sister, will be fixed in
August, must be it takes longer for the girls to be ready to be fixed.
Overall, we are doing very well.  Our big sister Mocha, who is ten, is a very patient sister.  She plays with us and
lets us sleep with her on the her pillow.   Our Mom keeps reminding minding us to be gentle with her when we play
and run; especially since we are young, strong and growing like weeds.   Tango weighs almost 30 pounds and
Jazzie is almost 28 pounds.  We’re doing well.

4/28/06 - Shaina has been adopted!

4/4/06 - What a sweet little girl Shaina is!  Very cuddly and lovable-and so playful too. She loves to grab the toys
and run all over with them. She enjoys snuggling with her sister and brother and plays, plays, plays! She has not
barked yet, so I think she's a quiet one but she will come and look up at me and  just beg with her eyes to be
picked up. Shaina is learning to use the puppy pads  to go to the bathroom and she sleeps all night long in the
crate
without a  peep.

4/1/06 - China and her three little ones have arrived safe and sound from a shelter in the South thanks to her
transport volunteers. Mom is the sweetest little girl ever!  She hasn't stopped wiggling since she got here, even
while she was eating-she's a real cutie :)  Everyone had some dinner, ran around and played while peeing and
pooping their brains out and now, all are asleep-shhhhhhhhhh, let's hope this lasts :)
