3/24/06 - Quincy left for his forever home yesterday. They were supposed to come get him today but called
yesterday and asked if they could come a day early because they were very excited. Well, Quincy was very excited
also and when he met them he jumped into the mans arms. Good thing the guy was a strong because he ended
up holding all 60 lbs of Quincy about three feet off the floor. I think it was love at first sight. Lets hope it lasts this
time.
3/12/06 - Quincy is still waiting for you. Have you sent your application in yet? You know who you are. Your a family
with kids and no other pets who is just lacking a smart lovable boy to make your home complete. Quincy doesn't
care if you work because he is very well behaved in his crate but when you come home he is going to want to
spend all his time with you and your kids. Especially your kids, he just loves kids. Quincy understands that you
have to take him to obedience classes and he is fine with that. He tries very hard to be good all the time but he
thinks it would be easier if he knew exactly what being good meant. Sometimes he gets confused, but not very
often considering he is only two. So this is just to remind you that Quincy is still being very patient but he wanted
me to tell you that he would love to go home with you soon and if you don't hurry up he may just have to find a
home with someone else.
1/29/06 - Unfortunately Quincy has been returned to find another home. The woman in the family that adopted him
just did not like him even though the kids and husband thought he was great.. I am not sure how anyone could not
like Quincy he is a wonderful boy, but he is now in need of a new home with a family that will love him forever.
Quincy loves people and especially loves children but is not comfortable with other dogs. If there has ever been a
boy that needed someone to come forward and make him a part of his family it is Quincy. He really just needs
someone to love him!
1/7/06 - Quincy was adopted!
12/17/05 - Quincy has been at my house for a week and is settling in nicely. He is a wonderful young boy who has
a lot of love to give. He just needs someone to give it to. He came from a shelter where he was left by his former
family because he got into things when he was left home alone and they did not believe in crating. I have been
crating him and he is no problem at all. So far he has been one of the best behaved fosters I have had in a while.
He loves kids and would love to go to a home with children or that has children that visit. He is just a wonderful
playful young boxer with all the typical boxer qualities. I know there is a family out there that just waiting for Quincy.
