UPDATE 2/27/07 -  Hey everyone, Piglet (aka Petey). I can't believe it's been a year since I moved in here. Mom
says I'm turning into a very good boy, although I still have my moments, I'm still a baby you know. I've learned that
Stella my sister, is definitly the BOSS around here, but I still like to torture her, and she lets me know that I'm
bothering her. One time I pushed her too far and she was so mad, she chased me onto the couch, and I tried to
climb up the wall. I like to take my cookies and hide them in the couch for another time, Mom says I'm a strange
little dog. It's snowy up here lately, and I'm not really fond of it, I can't wait for spring. I have a red coat I wear when
it's really cold, cause I don't have alot of fur. Sometimes my Dad will take me for a ride in the car, I like it , but if the
ride is too long, I get car sick. Well time too log off, and I want to thank SCBR for giving me this chance with a new
family. THANX.  PIGGY

UPDATE 8/25/06 -  Hey everyone,Piggy here. It's been 6 months since I moved here, and I'm very happy. I love my
brother Sam, he loves to play with me. I love to take my blanket and smush it on his head, and when he doesn't
pay attention to me I bite his nub!, I try this with my sister, Stella, but she doesn't like that, I learned she's the boss
around here. I also try the blanket trick with my senior friend, Deuce, but he only takes it for long. I have this
obsession with the pillows in this house. I like to shake them up! Mom says I have become a very good boy since I
got here, although I'm still a little crazy at times. I dont' really agree when my Mom has to go to work though, I hang
on the bottom of her pants and she can't walk, HEE HEE! I love to roll in the grass for hours. So as you can see I
am very happy with my new family. I'll talk to you in a year. Bye!

                  Sincerly yours,
                        Piggy

2/22/06 - Petey has been adopted !

2/19/06 - I am so sorry that it has been so long since I have updated my little sweet Petey boy! His foster mama
was a bit under the weather-pneumonia-and he was a wonderfully good little guy while I wasn't exactly the picture
perfect foster mom!  Petey is a great little guy and very smart. He has learned to use my doggie door and does so
all the time, just loving to be outside with his foster sister Olivia. He has had NO accidents in the house and keeps
his crate meticulously clean. Petey goes into the crate without making a fuss about it in any way, settles right down
and goes to sleep. He sleeps all night, never makes a sound and doesn't bother me to take him out, even in the
mornings until I am ready to do that. I can't say enough about this little guy-he is funny and charming and has fit
right in here with my crew. My Jazzmyn who will be nine in April, is not the most welcoming to most fosters-but she
loooooovvvvveeeeeeessss puppies-and she knows that Petey is just a baby, so she has accepted him and even
lets him sleep on my bed with her-now that's sayin' somethin' for sure! You really have to rate to be allowed on the
bed by Jazz.  Petey and Olivia have become the best of friends, running and playing and she has taught him to
mouth wrestle with her and he loves doing it! They have a ball together and Petey would probably be very happy to
be with a family who had another dog for him to play with-and he's full of puppy energy so having a companion
helps use that up too! When he first arrived here, he was never still unless he was asleep, but the BIG dogs have
taught him proper manners and he now will lay down and rest awhile when they want to instead of doing
everything in his power to annoy them into playing with him :)  Petey rarely barks unless I am making dinner for the
dogs, then he barks until he gets his bowl and then, gobble gobble gobble, and he goes to sleep. I feed all the
dogs in their crates and they all have a rest time after meals, and Petey has accepted that very willingly.  I hope
there is a family out there who will see what a little gem this boy is and give him the family of his very own that he
deserves. He is a cutie-pie!

2/4/06 - Petey has settled right in at his new foster home. He is asleep on my bed right now and has had a great
time playing with Olivia-that is, after she put him in his place :)) He tried to barrel into her like a tank and she was
having no part of that one, so she gave him a big grumble, went and got her ball and that was that! He actually ran
away from her LOL, the little chicken :)  He had dinner, went out and played a bit in the run, peed and pooped and
is about to go into the crate for the night-good boy!

1/27/06 - "Petey Went Fishing" - Petey took a dip in the Koi pond today. I turned my back for one minute so I don't
know if he fell in or he jumped in. LOL he is a cutie. He goes out by himself now to poop and only had 1 pee-pee
accident yesterday. He really is a smart little guy!

I took 20 pictures & they all look like the ones that are posted & they just do not capture how cute he is. This is the
one pic that he does not look "worried" in. I know I brag about how smart he is but can I tell you, I think he is potty
trained. We have not had an accident all day & he is going out by himself. I got him to stop mouthing & he
responds very well to NO he is a great little guy!

1/24/06 - This little guy is so smart!  He is in & out of the doggie door. He hides his toys & bones all over when he
is done with them & he remembers where they are. The bad thing is he hides some in my couch & then he trys to
"dig" them out. He is the cutest little guy. He also has lots of spunk. He keeps tormenting Bubba & Bubba gives
him a couple of swats, a growl & a snap & Petey runs around & comes back and barks at Bubba like "are you
talking to me?" He is such a little tuff guy from Brooklyn. His potty training is coming along good, only 1 accident
yesterday. He only goes when I go out with him. Even though he is in & out the doggie door he will only go if he has
company.
Tomorrow we will start to work on leash manners, this will be tuff but I am sure he will get it in no time. He is
starting to respond to his name & is responding well to a big NO. He is even calming down with his nibbling as
long as he has something to chew. This little guy is a Gem
!

1/23/06
- Petey arrived Saturday after a long ride from Brooklyn from a shelter.  He is so cute & he is also Zesty!!
He wants to play, play, play but he is also a lover & just wants to cuddle.  You can tell he is from Brooklyn because
he is bossy. He has my 90lb boy hiding in his crate. Even though he is a little bossy, he is in no way nasty.  He is
the
sweetest little guy! He is all legs & a little clumsy  but he has no fear he jumps off the steps & goes sliding down
the hall. He is fun to watch!!. Petey is a very smart little boy, he is already in & out of the doggie door. He got it right
off the bat, so it should be easy to get him house trained. He sleeps like an angel in his crate all night, but will give
a little lip if you put him in there when there is to much going on in the house. He does not want to miss a thing.
All this little guy needs is TLC & a forever home. He is very much a lap dog, making it very difficult to type!
