4/4/06 -  Papi has arrived and boy is he happy to be out of the shelter. The first  thing he did when I got him home
was waddle over to the dog bed and collapse. He was picked up as a stray so he must have been exhausted from
roaming the streets and the sleeping on hard concrete in the shelter. It has been two days and Papi is starting to
get caught up on his sleep. We have already found out his favorite thing is to roll over on his back and get his belly
rubbed. Papi was quite dirty when he arrived so we gave him a bath last night and he stood in the tub and behaved
wonderfully while we washed and rinsed him about five times.  He feels much better now and will be ready for his
new home soon!
