4/21/06 - Awwww, my "Noodle Bug", what a sweetie!   He is such a funny boy & great companion.  He loves going
for car rides and does great waiting for you to run in the store to grab a few things.  He will do anything for a treat
and cannot run quick enough to his crate when it is feeding time, as that is where I feed him.  If I am too slow about
brining him his food, he will run to get me and run back at 100 mph into his crate once he has me watching him.
LOL

He loves the nickname "Noodle Bug" (like Doodle Bug) that I call him & acts like that may have an affectionate
name he has been called before.   If he has the "grumpy face" on, I love to call him "Noodles", like he is a hard core
gansta! :)  Don't worry though, his grumpy face does not reflect his personality, he has a great sense of humor!
You can ask him where his toy is & he will grab his favorite toy of the moment & carry it around showing it off &
wiggling the whole time.  Noodle is still waiting for his family, don't miss out on this super cute boy!

3/31/06 - Noodle is doing great!  I have even been getting nice kisses from him now as he is such a happy &
playful boy!   He is trying so hard to play with my dogs who want nothing to do with him (they are too "old" to play
with a young'un like Noodle!), then he tries my big cat, who is NOT impressed and will sure let Noodle know it! LOL
Noodle has also been trying to make friends with my other puppy foster, Magoo, but being they both are dominant,
young males, they have not come to terms with the playing yet.  Poor Noodle, he just wants someone to play with
him & let him be the boss! :)   Noodle shows no dominance issues with me though & has the routine down here
perfectly.  He is great in his crate & will go in without any coaxing.  He likes to do the play bow with his butt up in the
air & face & front fee on the ground, then he will give a bounce/ wiggle all at once & off he goes!  He is such a funny
boy, he cracks me up & goes into a circle anytime you pet him.  He can't get enough of the loving and has the
cutest face I've seen!  Noodle will do great in a home where someone has to work during the day as he does not
have any seperation anxiety & loves snoozing in his crate with his blanket while you are at work.  Okay, where is
Noodle's new home?!  He's been waiting for the call & said he has Spring Fever & ready to go home with you!

3/17/06 - Noodle has settled in & is not stressed out at all anymore.  I now see his super cute & sweet side his
beginning transport volunteers saw (see their comments below from 3/12).   He is perfectly crate trained and
house trained and very playful!  He is a very smart & cute boy, but does need a lot of work on his leash training as
boy, can he PULL!   With some obedience training and a little time, I think Noodle will be a star in his class.  He
definitely does not like my cats even with more time and he is okay with some of the dogs.  I think Noodle will be
happy as either an only dog or with a submissive one.  He does have some fearfulness in him, which may be due
to a lack of socialization when he was younger.  Since this is part of his personality, he will not be a social butterfly
type that goes to big events with lots of people & activity around or dog park type situations.   He would make a
great running partner as he does have lots of young boy energy to wear off!   Do you have a home that Noodle is
waiting for?  He's ready to go!

3/12/06 - Noodle is half Boxer and half American Bulldog with a docked tail and natural ears.  He was surrendered
since he was not good with little kids and he was dominant with other dogs.  His family said he was crated during
the day but slept on his dog bed at night and did great with that.

Noodle is a very cute boy & looks mostly boxer-he has the cutest squishy face!   He was very nervous by the time
he reached me as he had spent a few hours traveling and was not sure what was going on.  He was not thrilled
with the cats when he met them and thought they looked like something to catch and eat!  So we will say kitties are
not going to be in his new home.  :)    He has settled down for the night in his crate and once he has had some
time to settle in some, I will try to introduce him to some of the other dogs and see how he does.  More updates
soon!

COMMENTS FROM SOME OF NOODLE'S TRANSPORT VOLUNTEERS:

"We did a leg of Noodle's transport earlier today...what a little love!!  He's a bundle of energy, and just covered us
with all kinds of hugs and kisses!!!    Someone is going to get an awesome dog when they adopt him!" -Anne

"I couldn't agree with you more!  He was such a sweetie, didn't growl or bark when I went in to the house to pick him
up.  He has also been very well cared for.  He rode very well in the car and definately knows  the words no, sit and
down, although he has trouble with the sit when he is wiggling away, but boy does he try to keep his butt planted :-)
What a sweet, cute boy!!!  He is so loving, he stole my heart when he was whining to get in the front of my car, he
sat, but looked at me and whined, like a good boy he stopped whining when I told him, and yes I would have kept
him myself!  Maybe it is good that Zane doesn't get along with most dogs, I would have a lot of dogs of he did :-)" -
Kate

"
I know what you mean about him stealing your heart!  I sat in the back with him for our leg of the transport, and I
was covered in kisses by the time we passed him along to Lorelyn!  He didn't whine to get up front with Richard,
although he did give him a few kisses as well, and tried only once to join him.   We gave him a few treats as we
were taking his picture, and you can see in the pictures that he definitely knows sit.  He also surprised me with how
gentle he was taking the treats.  He's definitely going to make a great companion for someone!" - Anne
