MORGAN
UPDATE 5/30/06 - Miss Morgan is just a doll. Since our other boxer Buster (adopted 10/04) took so long to settle in
and become comfortable, we've been taking things very slowly with her, but she just wants to jump right in! She's a
great watchdog and barks (and barks and barks) if anyone so much walks near the house, but is wonderful with
any new person that comes to visit. She's a ball of energy and we were a little worried how she would act around
our niece and nephew (aged 5 and 2) - but her whole demeanor changed when she saw the kids. No pushing, no
jumping, and no licking - which must have been hard - that huge tongue loves to give kisses!
She has the sweetest personality, loves to play, and aims to please. She and Buster have been inseparable since
she came a month ago and we think they are very happy for each other's company. We're sad that she's been
surrendered to rescue so many times, but glad that we've been given the chance to give her a forever home.
4/29/06 - Morgan has been adopted!
4/15/06 - Morgan is fitting in well at her foster home. She gets along well with the other dog and is very friendly.
Morgan loves children and gets very excited when she sees them. Morgan's foster mom says she was great with
her young grandchildren that came to visit. Morgan has free roam of the house while her foster mom is out and is
not at all destructive, no potty accidents either. Morgan has no bad habits and is an easy keeper. She also is not a
jumper, she just does the Boxer wiggle we all know and love to show her excitement. Morgan is a great little Boxer
girl, she is looking for a special family that will give her the attention she deserves and love her forever.
4/7/06 - Morgan is a doll and is fitting in very well. No problems at all with her. Morgan definitely adores kids and
gets all excited when she can see the neighborhood kids playing. Better hurry, this sweet gal won't be around long!
3/31/06 - Morgan, Morgan, Morgan oh my goodness is this girl a sweetie! Morgan is an owner surrender that has
been with SCBR a couple of times. She is a dark brindle, natural ears and docked tail. She is so very friendly and
met the other canine resident of her foster home without a single problem. She was pretty excited about being in a
new place so we had a hard time keeping her still for pictures. Morgan just wanted to sniff out her new turf. More
updates soon once she settles in.
8-2005 - Morgan was adopted!
8/5/05 - Morgan arrived back to Boxer Island last night. She was sadly returned to rescue after 18 months. Her
family had some situations arise which were out of their control. They were heartbroken to let her go, but knew what
the best decision for Morgan was, so she is back! Morgan was so happy to see Jason I swear she has never
forgotten us. She has always lived with young children. We'll see how she reacts to our daughter who is only 10
months. Sebastian is 4 and they get along just great. Morgan is so sweet, so cuddly and very happy to be loved. If
you need a break from her, she will hang out by herself and take a nap or just do her own thing. She loves to eat,
but she should only eat her food because she can become very very gassy!! So we watch not to feed her from the
table, or any other scraps. Morgan is good on a leash, she listens well and is protective of children, but not
threatening. She is just a super boxer. She has the best underbite! Morgan needs a forever home. She needs to
find a family who will give her attention and make her a part of their family (like her last family did), but she needs
stability, and a promise that she won't be moved anymore.Morgan is the perfect dog for a home with dogs, cats,
children or even a home without. She is very ADAPTABLE!
