UPDATE 12/23/06 - Sorry everyone for the blank email.   Mason is doing great.  He is so well
behaved and clearly needed some love and attention.  He had a few accidents the first night but after
that he’s been great.  He is a little skiddish about going out- I think he thinks he is going to have to
stay out there.  He eats great and will surely put on a few needed pounds soon.  His rash is getting
better and he is almost done his antibiotics-he will miss his cheese treats that we put the pills in J  .  Our
2 ½ year old is still adjusting. He has developed a fear of dogs from when we last had a boxer in the
house. He was great with our last 2 boxers but is still fearful of Mason??  We are thinking it is the age.
Mason is so calm compared to our last ones we can’t believe our son is so afraid. We are patiently
waiting for it to pass.
Happy holidays to all- we are certainly going to have happier ones with Mason

UPDATE 12/23/06 - Mason has adjusted great.  He had a nervous 1st night but has seemed right at
home since. We brought him to our vet and he got some cream for his rash and a new antibiotic. If we
can keep him from licking it will be healed in no time.  He wanted no part of that plastic collar!!  He has
slept well in his crate and is " learning to walk on the leash.  He is skiddish around cars- probably not
used to them but today we are driving out to the lake and then going for our walk to avoid the walk in
the streets to the nearby pond.  All in all he is the BEST.  He is eating great and will soon fill out his
boney backside.
WE love him.

12/18/06 - Mason has been adopted!

12/13/06 -  Handsome Mr. Mason arrived Sunday evening thanks to Adam and Danielle! He is such a
sweet and happy boy. He came from a home with many children dogs and cats... and unfortunately not
enough room for them all.
He goes for his "nip and tuck" tomorrow, and wil be brought up to date on all his shots. So far he has
been a wonderful guest here! He crates nicely and is doing well leash walking. He's eating well and his
little boo-boos are heaing up (he was kept toed outside and it showed!) He is so happy to be cuddled
and paid attention to. He is enormous, by the way. His feet are just huge, and he has the biggest mushy
face! He will jump up for a hug but he is not at all rambunctious or rough, just large! He doesn't seem to
know how to play much, so I've been boxing him and playing with him with toys, he just loves it.
