UPDATE 10/31/06 - Bailey is doing fantastic. she has adjusted well to our home. we adopted another
mastiff mix last week and they are both having a ball together. Bailey cam out to my mothers house with
my wife and I when we had a garage sale we had a crate there for her and she said hi to everyone that
was shopping then when she decided she had enough she just ladi down in her crate and went to sleep.
she is really healthy and runs allot in the back yard. she is getting along with her training well she will sit
lay down and go to her place on comand. we are still working on leash work. she is startled by loud
noises of traffic. since we got Moose (the new addition) he is much calmer in traffic having been brought
up in Brooklyn she is much better when we all walk together. Baily has been taking weekly walks in
prospect park with us and this week it will be the full pack visiting the park that should be fun. you can
see pictures of Baily and Moose at

10/2/06 - Koi has been adopted!

9/6/06 - Miss Koi has settled back in to her foster home. She was returned to rescue for being to rough
with the resident cat. Needless to say we will be looking for a home without cats.

In getting to know Koi more and more.......... her behavior with other dogs is changing..... she is a big
rough and tumble girl... but is really learning to respect the limits and boundaries the other dogs set for
her.   I've had her out playing with my resident top dog Madison. Madison is the class bully here. Koi
has adapted to all of Maddie's corrections. and bellies up for her.   Koi is still a puppy and has the
energy level to go with it.  Another active dog might just be the best medicine for her to get out that
excess energy. Miss Koi still lacks table manners ........ in a split second she grabbed a whole steak off
the table. I was concerned she might choke and she allowed me to take it out of her mouth.   (after a
game of chase) lol lol   Please consider adding this very active little girl to you home.

8/28/069 - Unfortunately, Koi is coming back into rescue after just being adopted.  She did not get
along with the resident cat.  So a home without a kitty is a must.

7/15/06 - Koi joined our camp yesterday. This is a very sweet girl who is very hand shy right now.
When i reach out to pet her she ducks down :( It doesn't seem like she has spent much time in a home...
meaning the stove, grill and other house hold items are new to her.  She is quickly learning the limits and
boundaries about these kind appliances that could hurt her.

We named her KOI....... because of her love for water.   She is obsessed with drinking it, likes to swim
in the adult pool and likes to wade in the kiddy pool. We are letting her settle in before introducing her
to our other campers.   She seems very happy here and gives kisses and kisses to prove it.

She loves the attention and responds well :)) we will begin working on some basis obedience......like no
you cannot eat my hamburger from my plate :)) ...............updates to come......
