2/4/06 - Kisses was adopted!
1/27/06 - Well, I have to say that Kisses is the sweetest little girl! She definitely lives up to her name. She always is
excited when someone comes home and she just loves to supply all of the kisses for everybody. She and my dog
are getting along quite nicely finally and she's met the cat a few times though I'm not sure if she wants to just
smell her or eat her. The cat is keeping her distance. She has an 'S' tattoo on her stomach with a little scar so we
are assuming she is spayed. I tried to cut her long nails a couple of times but once she realized what the clippers
were for, she is opposed to any more chances with that right now (I wasn't even close to the quick). I only crate her
when no one is home. She's not thrilled about going in there but she lays down nicely and doesn't cause a fuss.
She has found that the couch is her favorite place to sleep or my bed if I would let her. She's very well behaved and
walks well on a leash (except when she spots a deer). She's even learned how to sit for a treat. She is a pleasure
to have as a foster!
1/20/06 Well Kisses came to my family with nothing but kisses to give to everyone which is how she got her name.
She is a beautiful girl who gets along with everyone, men, women, children and strangers alike. She just has so
much love to give. She had a really hard time adjusting to my other dog but after a few days and a lot of work, she
is getting along much better. She is very jealous and tries to be the dominant one. I think if someone was willing
to spend time introducing her to their family pets, she would probably adjust. But as far as people go, she is about
the most lovable dog you could want. She is just such a sweet pretty little girl.
1/16/06 - Kisses was a stray to a shelter we work with. Thank you to her transport volunteers for getting her into
rescue today! Stay tuned for updates soon from her foster home.
