9/13/06 - Hey everyone, it's Grant! Foster Mom said I could type my own update, so hear it goes! I'm
starting to settle in here at my foster home. I was a little sad from all the changes when I first got here, but
I'm feeling happier and more comfortable each day. I even started to play outside in the backyard with all
the cool toys. I love the frisbee and the basketball with the rope attached to it. I'm glad my foster sisters
don't mind sharing with me. My two foster sisters and I get along very well. My foster Mom said that I
am a well mannered boy, I know my basic commands-sit, paw, lay down, give kiss, and come. I also
walk very nice on the leash. I am crate trained, but am such a good boy, that you don't have to crate me
when you're not home. I just find a nice spot to relax in until you return. I'm also completely
housebroken. Foster Mom also said I'm a good co-pilot on car rides. I sit very nice in the car and I'm a
good buddy to take when you run errands. Do I sound like the perfect dog for you? If you think so,
please call today and ask for Grant!
9/3/06 - Grant has settled nicely into his new foster home. He's only been here a few hours, but what a
great guy he is. He is sleeping by my feet as I type this. Grant wants to say a big thank you to Liz and
Roni for holding onto him. And also thank you to the many people who volunteered to transport him to
WNY and to his original intended foster family, thank you for opening your home and hearts to him, even
though his transport didn't go through. He is extremely grateful!! I will update on him as soon as we get
to know him a little better!!
8/27/06 - Grant is house trained and good in the crate. he seems depressed right now......... needs a little
TLC. I had him snuggling in bed last night..... he is a doll. An easy keeper!
8/25/06 - Grant is very sweet. He lit up when he met the kids. :)
8/24/06 -Grant is a 7 year old owner surrender – they no longer had time for him and dumped him at a
shelter. They say he is good with other animals and kids. He was neutered and shots were updated at the
shelter. He is a kind, very friendly dog.
