UPDATE 10/30/06 -  Rosie is now close to 9 months old, and we've had her for six.  She is in excellent shape and
great health, though she doesn't seem to grow very much.  She's only 30 lbs. while we read that her brother and
sister (Tango and Jazzie) are 50 and 45 lbs.  Guess we got the runt!  We love Rosie and wouldn't trade her for the
world.  She loves her home and property here.  She really has been enjoying her daily trips to the dog park, where
she runs nonstop with her friends.  Rosie gets along beautifully with other dogs.  She's very submissive.
We have retired Rosie's crate, as she's able to be home alone for spells without getting into trouble.  Her favorite
time of day is bedtime.  She loves snuggling with her mom and dad and burying herself under the covers.
We hope to contact the owners of Jazzie and Tango and also the owner of China (Rosie's doggy mom).  We'd just
like to compare experiences and share photos. (mjbalcik@ptd.net)

UPDATE 8/27/06 - Hello from Fionna! Her name was changed to Rosie, and she learned it right away.  We couldn't
believe how quickly she adjusted to life in her new home.  She's almost 7 months now, house trained and
obedience trained.  She's 30 lbs. and is also fully recovered from being spayed two weeks ago.  Rosie is the most
loving dog we've ever been around.  She loves people and everyone just loves her in return as she's very popular
with her neighbors. She gets along beautifully with other dogs.  Rosie will play nonstop with her friends.  She has
a huge yard to run around in and patrol.  One of her favorite pastimes is chasing the wildlife (birds, rabbits, etc.).
We would love to hear from the owners of her mother, Chyna, and her brother and sister, Jazzie and Tango.

5/6/06 - Fionna has been adopted!

4/30/06 - Hi everyone, I'm Fionna!! Remember me?? My brother Austin and my sister Shaina have gone to their
forever home and everyone forgot about me!!  I am really cute too and I promise to keep doing well on my
house-training if you will consider taking me home to join your family, pretty please??  I am already crate-trained
and have slept right straight through the night, even after my brother and my sister left. I like it here with my fur
mommy and my foster brother and sisters, but I would really like to have a special home just for me!  My foster
mom told me to be patient because the very best, most special home is out there waiting for me so, I am trying to
do what she says-but I am sooooooooo ready to be loved by and to love a new family.  I will try really hard to sit still
so my foster mom can get some new pictures of me looking pretty for you all to see-I am one special little girl!  I
love people and other dogs and I am a very good puppy-at least that's what they tell me!!  Everyone who comes to
visit just oooohhhhhhh's and ahhhhhhhhh's over me, so I must be pretty cute!  Won't you please take me home?

4/4/06 - Oh my, what can I say about this little girl-she couldn't be any cuter and she is quite a charmer too!  She
will look right in your face and talk, talk, talk-but melt into a ball of puppy mush the second you pick her up for a
cuddle
or two.  She is already learning to use the puppy pads to go to the  bathroom and sleeps straight through the night
in the crate without a single  peep.

4/1/06 - China and her three little ones have arrived safe and sound from a shelter in the South thanks to her
transport volunteers. Mom is the sweetest little girl ever!  She hasn't stopped wiggling since she got here, even
while she was eating-she's a real cutie :)  Everyone had some dinner, ran around and played while peeing and
pooping their brains out and now, all are asleep-shhhhhhhhhh, let's hope this lasts :)
