| 4/15/06 - Fanny showed us a couple of times that she had one of the most extreme cases of dog aggression we have ever seen. Recent conversations with her original owner also showed that she was really the instigator with their other dog and it started when she was about 1 year old. The last fight she had in her old home, 911 & Animal control had to be called to break it up. There was no way Fanny could have been safely placed in any home, even without other dogs. We had to make the difficult decison to let Fanny go to the rainbow bridge where she can be free. 3/30/06 - Fanny is a wonderful little dog who is settling in nicely. I think she would do best as an only dog or she doesn't seem to mind smaller dogs. She is wonderful with every person she meets. She loves kids and giving kisses. Riding in the car is one of her favorite things to do. Fanny is healing well from her dog attack and is ready to move on to a forever home. Please consider giving this special girl a home. 3/23/06 - Fanny arrived yesterday from a local vets office. Seems the other dog in the house decided to beat the heck out of her. She has big holes, scratches and staples all over her. So for her safety her family decided to surrender her. At least it doesn't seem to have broken her spirit. She is sweet, happy and outgoing. She meets the other dogs with her tail wagging even though Ihaven't let them get to close as I want to get to know her first. Fanny ate a great supper and settled in her crate for a good nights sleep. We will let you know as we get to know her better. I don't image this girl will be around long! |
