UPDATE 8/21/06 -  O.M.G.!!! I can not thank S.C.B.R. enough for such a wonderful little girl! China is such a well
behaved little girl [ only 40 lbs] We are going to our 5th week class at petsmart. I am learning a lot more then China
is,  she  must of already known most of these commands as I can't believe she is picking them up this fast! As for
me I'm learning that she knows the commands & how to use them. [ I didn't expect her to do them,  now I do]. We
have been  together for 3 months & are still in school. I had enrolled China in beginners classes. However the first
day of school the instructor said China is way to advanced for this class & had me enroll in the next upcoming
ADVANCED class. I am such a proud Mommy China is acing the advanced class. She will graduate in 3 weeks on
the honor roll! L.O.L. The vet & I believe China is about 8 years old. She is very mellow, never demanding. Loves
people especially men. China goes a lot of places with me & is always welcome at Friends & families home
because she is so behaved. I do leave her at home at least 1 day a week so she doesn't get separation anxiety
like my dogs in the past have had because I had them with me 24-7. When I leave she stands up in the door way
looking out the window as I leave. It's so cute all I see is a little coo-coo head & 2 little eyes watching me exit. After
I'm gone she just goes back to playing with her toys, she has never damaged anything in the house. Her only
"quark" is she will snatch an unattended plate of food, [ but I don't blame her if there was unattended food in front of
me I'd scoff it up also!] All & all said China is a loving active senior dog that still has a lot of playful qualities, loves
balls stuffed animals [ her babies] & people. She is greatly loved & we are sooooo  happy. Thanks

UPDATE 7/24/06 - Hello This is Chinas second update. We are going to advanced Dog training now. This little girl
really needs no-schooling. Somebody trained her very well! She knows all her commands. She is just the best
behaved little girl I've ever had. It seams like we have been together for a long time now! We are such a good
match. China loves her 3/4 of an acre she gets to run around in. She plays fetch with a ball, she is so content to
just sit on the screened in porch or lie in the sun by the fence & watch the birds, traffic &  squirrels go by. If you ask
her where the Chippys are she tries to climb a tree, another of her favorite things to do is play with her stuffed
animals she just loves them! China is a very easy going people loving dog. She loves to go riding in the car & is
very  well behaved when she goes to other peoples houses. China is sometimes left alone at home by herself [
not to often] she is very good does not have to be crated. I just don't know how I was lucky enough to get such a
good little girl! Thanks

5/20/06 - China has been adopted!

4/30/06 - China has been having a wonderful time here.  She became a bit distressed after two of her babies left
for their forever homes this past Friday, but she has recovered and is back to her happy go lucky self again. China
loves to play with toys and loves to take a short romp in the backyard-not too long, mind you, just enough to stretch
her little legs and have some fun and she's ready to come back inside.  She really is the sweetest little girl!  The
only thing she doesn't like is having her nails clipped, but she gives in after a bit of pulling her leg away and
high-tailing it for her crate :)  China really is a "pocket-sized" boxer, being only about 17inches tall at her shoulders
and just about 40 pounds. She would make the perfect, laid back companion for someone who wants a crate and
house-trained little girl who would be more than happy to curl up on the couch with her human.  She is scheduled
to be spayed and brought up-to-date on her vaccinations on May 12th and then she should be good to go!  Get your
applications in for this little sweetheart-she is a true charmer!

4/4/06 - China is such a sweetie that I just had to send in a little quickie update on her.  She is the very best
mommy ever!  Her pups are her main interest and she is devoted to them.  She still counts them everytime I  move
one and they all sleep together in a big pile for naptimes. This  little dog is the very best wiggly-butt! She is so
happy all the time, not  asking for much-just a pat on the head or a good neck rub or a bit of playtime with a ball.
China is completely house-trained and crate-trained and sleeps all night without a peep. She stays quiet in her
crate until I go and get her in  the morning and waits for her sleepy foster mom to grab a cup of coffee before  we
venture outside-then, she goes right away and is ready to come back in after giving the morning air a good sniff
and exploring just a bit in the yard.   China eats very well-she likes having a bit of wet food or home-cooking in her
food.
I think my guys must have let her in on the secret that if you look at mom with those big, sad eyes she will put good
stuff in the bowl!!  China would make a wonderful addition to a family. She seems to get along with other dogs  but
has not as yet spent up close and personal time with my dogs-they do meet  and greet through the baby gates
though and there is nothing but a wiggle happening there. :)

4/1/06 - China and her three little ones have arrived safe and sound from a shelter in the South thanks to her
transport volunteers. Mom is the sweetest little girl ever!  She hasn't stopped wiggling since she got here, even
while she was eating-she's a real cutie :)  Everyone had some dinner, ran around and played while peeing and
pooping their brains out and now, all are asleep-shhhhhhhhhh, let's hope this lasts :)  Oh, and mom has very nice
manners, she waited til we went outside to go potty, good girl!  :)
