UPDATE 12/17/06 - Just wanted to let you know we have had a great week. Carolina (now called
Ripley) is a terrific pup. She has adjusted to our home so easily. We never had a moment of anything
we would consider separation issues. She was a perfect traveler all the way back to RI. She sleeps
well at night - sometimes getting up once around 2 a.m., sometimes sleeping until 4:30/5. When she
gets up her crate is clean, and she goes right outside. She wasn't eating much the first couple of days,
but now she is eating what we expected. There are no issues when she eats - we can pet her and play
and she doesn't mind. She spends a little time each day in the crate, just to get used to it - while I
Christmas shop or go to one of the boy's games, but other than that, she is hardly ever alone. The boys
love her an give her LOTS of attention. There are a couple of puppy friends in our neighborhood, that
she loves to wrestle with too. She is such a sweetheart!
Thank you so much for sending her to our home. She obviously was well socialized in your home, and
we are definitely seeing the benefit of that. Hope you were able to place Anaheim and Philadelphia. If
they have similar personalities, they should be easy to place and their new families will be very lucky too.
