UPDATE 4/17/07 - We have been the proud parents of Biscuit for 1-yr., 2 months.  He is doing very well.  He is
healthy, except he is slightly overweight.  He does still have some stomach issues. He throws up once in a  while
and I can't always tell if it is his sensitive stomach or it is because he has ate some "rotten" thing outside. He is on
pepcid and he has had all types of tests and it appears that there is nothing serious except for a sensitive
stomach.  His behavior has settled down.  He still plays very rough, and he still uses his mouth when he gets
excited, but he is doing so much better. He is a very good boy. He did have obedience training which I believed
helped some.  He likes to play ball, run and go for walks and smell. When he gets excited he jumps straight up
and down, very high, like 3' to 4'  high.
He loves his bed or I should say beds as he has a number of them thoughout the house.  But his night bed, which
is right beside our bed, is a 36" x 48" dog bed, with a soft comforter folded into quarters and placed on top of the
dog bed; it is very soft and comfortable for him and he loves it.
He is our very best friend. And he is certainly in his forever home. We love him dearly.
I just wanted all to know that Biscuit is safe, healthy, and very much loved. We feel very lucky to have Biscuit in our
lives as part of our family.
My home e-mail has been down for a long time, so I have not been reading the e-mails from the SCBR mailings.
Please do not add the e-mail address that I entered above to the SCBR list, as this is not my e-mail address.

3/06 - Biscuit has been adopted!

2/18/06 - Biscuit is pending adoption!

2/11/06 - Biscuit is back again, still looking for his new home.   Thank you to everyone who helped get him back
into rescue today.  More updates soon.

1/13/06 - Biscuit was adopted!  Biscuit just left with his new family. His new dad, grandpa and skin brother and
sister came to pick him up. Biscuit sat right on his new Dad's lap. He couldn't wait to go in their car.

1/3/06 - Sadly, Biscuit is looking for another new home already.  Another dog in the house suddenly decided that
Biscuit was no longer welcome there.   More updates soon on this sweet boy.

UPDATE 12/27/05 - Well, I can not believe it has been one month since we have adopted Biscuit from SCBR! He is
a Love!!!Biscuit has adapted so well here...even our 2 other dogs, Zoe and Lexi, have had no problems within their
little 'doggy circle'. Biscuit is a truely wonderful addition to our family. My husband and I are so pleased with how
things are going. Biscuit has truely found his Forever Home with us here in CT. He has had 2 training classes so
far, and the trainer, Mike, said he is doing very well (we think so too!!). I beam with pride as I watch Mike handle him
on the training floor. Biscuit is so handsome! We just love him so much! And you can surely tell that he loves us
too! Biscuit is one happy boxer! Well, all for now. I will update you again in one more month! Thank you SCBR,
again, for this great boy! He is loved five-times over! Biscuit says thank you, too!

11/27/05 - Biscuit has been adopted!

11/16/05 - Foster mom thought I should do a short update with a few new pictures. I can't believe how lucky I am to
have a roof over my head and two great meals everyday. I realize its great to be part of someone's family. I was
found on the streets then spent 5 weeks in a shelter on cold hard cement. Not anymore. My bed is a nice
comfortable quilt in my crate. I get special hug time every morning. I go out first then I have my breakfast. As soon
as I finish my says hug time. I run to the couch lay my body across mom's lap and she hugs and kisses me. I give
her plenty of boxer kisses. What a great feeling to know someone loves me. Last night I got to watch a movie with
foster dad. We both sat on the couch. He kept holding me and petting me. Don't tell him I wasn't watching the
movie. I just love to sit with him. What I really need now is a family to love and I can call my own. Please call and
ask for Biscuit. You won't find a more loyal and loveable companion!

11/11/05 - Good Morning this is Biscuit here. I'm finally adjusted to my foster home.   My poor foster mom was
really very confused about me. At first I showed no emotion but now she loves me.  I'm really doing very good.
Foster dad and skin brother both adore me. I'm very strong but wouldn't hurt anyone.  I know my commands,
completely housebroken, don't jump on counters, and I'm not a thief.  My favorite toy is a ball. The problem I have is
I pop all of them since I'm so strong. Foster mom just keeps buying me more.

My favorite place is on the couch  next to you. I love to push my head in you and put my butt up in the air and  then
you can scratch my belly. Yesterday foster mom and I cuddled on the couch  and we took a nap. Just when I started
to have this great dream the bell rang. I  was dreaming that the phone rang and it was my forever home calling.
Won't you please make my dream come true?

11/6/05 - Biscuit arrived at Seaside Boxer Haven this afternoon thanks to Gina and her 2 daughters. Her daughters
are very young and Biscuit was great with them. At first I didn't know what to write about Biscuit, he seemed so
distant. I knew he must be very confused and depressed so i spent 2 hours with just him. We bonded and I felt so
much better. He is wonderful!  He started to wag his tail. He has given me many boxer kisses. Biscuit loves to play
ball. He also sits and gives the paw. What he really needs is a forever home. A place where he knows they love
him and will keep him forever. He loves when I wrap my arms around him and hold him. Poor Biscuit is a stray
who spent five weeks in a shelter. They thought he was going to be adopted but he wasn't. He ate a great dinner
and is now taking a nap. Please open your hearts to this wonderful boy-he needs you!
