UPDATE 8/1/07 - Athena is great!!  She is queen of the household.  She loves her mommy and daddy
and is quite spoiled in her forever home.  She has tons of toys she whips around the house and she
walks every night, weather permitting.  She is strong, healthy and getting quite a bit muscular on her
small frame.  For a small boxer, only 23lbs. she has some thick shanks!!!  She is a happy little boxer
and well mannered.  When a new foster comes in the house, she gets reluctent to meet them but after
two weeks she is their best pal.  Athena is submissive and is a great addition to our family.  We are
blessed to have her.

UPDATE 1/9/07 - "Theeny" is doing great in her new forever and ever home.  We love this little girl
too much. She is very happy here, and we can tell that by the way she plays and plays with her toys and
her foster sister Nilla. The two dogs are inseperable. Theeny took to Nilla quickly, however she shows
no interest to her new older brother Jax.  He feels the same way.  They just put up with each other.  Oh
well, must be the age difference. He is 10 years old and Nilla is one [closer to Theeny's age]. Anyway,
Theeny plays happily by picking up her toy animals and whips them around with her mouth. They land
on the TV set, amoire, or even my lab.  One morning I got up and went to the kitchen sink and behold!
Dog toys in my sink.  How did they get there?  She is too funny. Sometimes the toys are whipped
around so fast that they come close to landing on the ceiling fans!  She walks pretty good on the leash
too.  We walk her almost every night and she listens well. She stops at corners when I say "stop
Theeny".  When it's clear to cross I say "okay", she then trots proudly across the steet.  She appears to
be easy to train and she also appears to want to please us.  I never have to raise my voice to her. She
knows if we are disappointed in her actions [which is rarely].  I know we adopted the perfect little girl
for our family.  Thank you SCBR for this perfect little angel you found and blessed us with! Ill update
more next month.

12/23/07 - Athena has been adopted!

11/28/06 - Athena is an owner surrender.  She gets along fine with my two male dogs.  She was a little
timid upon first arriving on Saturday, however has come out of her shell quite a bit.  She assumes
somewhat of a submissive personality with the dogs, allowing them to sniff her out well. However, does
not tolerate being bullied too much or having one of them come near her food bowl while eating.  She
has gotten vocal and appears to nip when they do either of those things (but not a true attempt to bite).
Athena shows no food agression to me as I will touch her and the food bowl while she is eating.

Athena is a real lovey dog. She loves to get on my lap and cuddle which is alright with me because she
is so tiny. She hasn't shown much interest in toys here, nor is not showing interest in any of my furniture
or shoes either!

She goes in her crate easy with a treat thrown in and barks just a little bit.  She has a real cute little bark
too! She has had a couple of accidents in the house, but may have been due to the new house and
changes that have occurred in her life within the past couple days.

What a wonderful dog she is and a very lucky family that will come to adopt her! She can't wait to find
a family that will love and care for her forever.

11/26/06 - She is wonderful. A real nice dog. She is getting along very well with Moses and Titanic. I
let them sniff her for a couple hours and let her out to meet them for a little bit. They are all doing very
well. She is sweet, smaller than Titanic. Appears that she had pups not too long ago. She ate all of her
dinner and is drinking water.
