| 4/20/05 - Jasmine and Revere are the best dogs ever!!! They have been in our home for 2 weeks and have adjusted really well. It took them a few days to get used to the surroundings, but they are very adjustable dogs. Their housetraining skill is a 10. They love rides in the car, playing fetch, playing with pull toys and any toy that makes noise. They are very good on leash walks and Jasmine has even been off leash down by the beach and comes when called. (She pretty much goes where Revere goes, so as long as he's around - she stays close). We haven't tried Revere off leash as he is very Bostonian and can be a little stubborn, but not too much. They love people and want to approach everyone while walking - but they are not aggressive or pulley, just very curious and tail waggy. Revere is very good with the heel/sit while on walks and Jasmine takes a couple times. They don't LOVE being in bed, which is not typical for the Boston certainly, but they will come up if called. They usually hang out on a doggy bed on the floor. They do like couches. I think because they like to look out the window so much. Jasmine is a very goofy wiggle worm when you come home from being away or if she wakes from a nap and sees you. People applying with small children should be mindful of this. She is not aggressive in any way at all and not jumpy... she just wiggles and gets very happy to see you. She is 60 lbs and could knock a child over if left unattended when first meeting or greeting her. These two are perfect dogs and would add so much love and fun to any home. They are so good that it doesn't even seem like there are two of them. We have donated the first 3 months of Frontline Flea and Tick and the first 6 months of heartgaurd preventative meds for these two great pooches. They are worth your time!!! 03/31/05 - Jasmine and Revere were surrender to rescue due to some big changes in their family. The family felt they would be much better off in a new home. These two are super dogs who have been well cared for. Both are friendly and well fed (overweight). They came last night settled right down and slept all night without a peep. We would love these two to stay together as they have always been together. We will update you more as we get to know them. |
